I am a mom of a 2 year old with another due the end of March and am looking for some kids for my daughter to interact with. She is a very bright girl and is still too young for pre-school or nursery school but I really don't want to put her in day care. I have never had a babysitter watch her as I have always watched her so this is all new to me. Does anyone out there possibly want to get together for a playgroup?
My son is almost 2 he will be in Oct. I would be up for a play date. I dont live to far from camillus. what were you up for? something like the Mc donalds play place? till it gets nicer out?
i live in solvay not too far from camillus. im always looking for some company uin the afternoons. my oldest is at fulll day and my middle is at afternoon prek. i jsut had another one and want to go malling or walking but cant find anyone to do it. if youre up to it i could take the car a few days a week and we could go to parks or mall or even jsut walking together. email me at ____@____.com
Hello L., I don't have a play group but I think I may be interested in the same thing that you are. I presently live in liverpool and will until the middle of April when we move to Manlius. My daughter is 19 months and I am pregnant and due May 21st. I really want to get her into some sort of play group or find another mom or two in this area that would be willing to set up a play date because my poor daughter rarely plays with any other children, except family on occasion. I also work a little part time here and there but am mainly home all the time for my daughter. I think that we have a lot in common already and I am interested if you want to try and get together or if you find a play group in the syracuse area I would like to know about it too if you wouldn't mind. Are you aware of the Camillus Babysitting Co-Op? We are a group of Moms who are in a co-op that shares babysitting time. We meet once a week on Thursdays from 10:30 until 1:30. There are 3 teams of Moms; each week one team stays with the kids and the other moms have a few hours to themseleves to do whatever they want or need to do. Of course you can stay with your child every week if you want to. The children are divided into age appropriate groups - nursery ,toddler and preschool ages. They play, interact, socialize, learn, eat lunch together and have a great time! I found this group when my daughter was 10 months old and was nervous about it because she had never been left with anyone. I have to say it is the best thing I ever did for both her and myself! She learned to get along with others and is now a very social child and still loves going to her co-op preschool. I have made some very wonderful friends. We follow the West Genesee School Calendar and meet at Christ Community Church on Warners Road.
