I absolutely hate to shop - does anyone know of a personal shopper in the Austin area? I've never done that before, but I'd like to hear from someone who has and what they think about it. Is it worth it? Since I hate to shop, you could probably guess that I am not that picky about what I wear, but it would be nice to feel more put together.

I have done it part time back in Chicago, I think that it is worth it especially if you are looking to spice up things for the husband or going back into the work force or changing your look after years. A personal shopper can assist you with developing and maintaining your own personal style while being in style, and a good shopper will work with any size budget.

I WISH I had a little of that in me! I like to shop a little too much. I am not a professional but I am in the Austin area and would be happy to help if you ever need someone to take you by the hand and spend a few hours formatting a plan. It may work better for your schedule to hire someone but keep my email handy if you want to have lunch and brainstorm. I am in the Austin area. I have never had a personal shopper myself. I actually am one of those who love to shop. I even enjoy the grocery store but I much prefer the mall and such. Anyhoo, I wonder if I could just help you out some if you give me a feel for more of what you like. I will also ask around my friends - it is possible that one of them has had one. Good luck.
Hi-Nordstroms has a personal shopper in their Boutique area upstairs. I had a client that used them. She loved it.
