Looking for Pediatrician - Rochester Hills, Troy, Bloomfied

Dr. Michael Williams with Lifetime Medical in Rochester Hills. The offices are in the WellPointe Building off of M-59 at Dequinder (in front of Beaumont Hospital). We love him! I can not say enough good things. I have never felt rushed, he patiently answers all questions and timely addresses all issues. He has 4 children of his own and is very caring.

My son's pediatrician is Dr. Sybil Rogrigues at the Henry Ford Medical Center in Sterling Heights. They are on 15 Mile West of Ryan, so it is not too far from Troy.

My nephews who are now 11 and 8 went to her and when my sister's insurance changed and they had to change doctors, my sister was so upset, she was crying. She loved Dr. Rodrigues, so when my son was born 2 years ago, we didn't even interview anyone else, just signed up with her. She is great, she takes time to answer questions and at times when I have had to take my son in after hours and she is not there, she has called to follow up and ask how he is doing. She is very involved with her patients and really does care about them, they are not just a number to her. What is nice is that she always asks about my nephews, too!

My pediatrician isn't that convenient to you (or me for that matter!), but we absolutely love her. My son is only 4 1/2 months old, so we don't have a broad range of experience with her, but the experience we have had has been great (and unfortunately we are there more than I thought we would be!).

She is a pediatrician, and internist and she practices alternative (homeopathic) medicine. It is great that she sees people of all ages, from birth to death and very convenient for us! We were very concerned about vaccinations,didn't want to over medicate our child and were looking for a doctor who would look for the source of issues instead of simply treating the symptoms. So far, she has done just that. She takes time with us at every visit (and we have a million questions!), always gets us in when we need to be seen, returns calls promptly and practices medicine with the same beliefs we have (which was very important to us). We did decide to vaccinate, but she uses preservative free vaccinations and works with you on a plan that you are comfortable with (for example, we never give more than 1 vaccination at a time and have only given 1 vacciantion thus far).

We've been with Pediatric Consultants Of Troy for 5 1/2 years and really like them. They're in Troy Beaumont and have a night owl clinic there and a separate well baby office and sick children's office which we also love.

Dr.Chung on Avon rd. ###-###-#### He is a wonderful Dr. He takes the time with you and answers worried mom questions. And you can get in right away. Plus he will call you at 2 in mornign if you have a concern, not many dr's do that. i miss him my children are on medicaid due to a job loss--but we will return to him in the winter. goodluck.

We love our pediatricians. Their name is Northeast Pediatric Associates, P.C. They are on Rochester Rd in Rochester Hills. Their # is ###-###-####. My girls favorite is Dr. Kristen Herman, but they are all wonderful!

Rainbow Pediatrics in Troy I have had great experience with. Our preferred pediatrician at the practice is moving out of state unfortunately, but I still think it's great and all the other doctors are fantastic. All the doctors in the practice are female by the way.

My husband and I take our daughter to Kidz 1st to see Dr. Mitchell. He came recommended from a friend. Our daughter is 17 mos. old and has gone there since birth. Dr. Mitchell spends time answering your questions without making you feel rushed. He is very knowledgable and keeps up to date. I've asked a bunch of questions regarding vaccines and he never gets upset and goes into great detail. They are located on Walton Blvd in Rochester Hills near Brewster. The number is ###-###-####. I really like Dr. Koval at Child Health Associates at Woodward and Big Beaver - her bedside manner is great - she is the only doctor who has been able to get a look inside my 2 y.o. son's ears without him freaking out - very crafty with the sweet talk! She is friendly, knowledgeable and doesn't talk down to you - she will also spend whatever time is necessary to discuss your child and his/her issues. My child has never had anything seriously wrong with him so I can't speak to the complete breadth of her knowledge, but she seems competent. I don't like every doctor at that office, but I do like her. L. W.
