My name is A. and I live in Gilbert. I have been experimenting with different playgroups,however, I haven't found any that have boys nor two year olds. So....I am wondering if anyone is in a playgroup that has two year olds with a mixture of boys and girls. Or if anyone would be interested in starting one with me. My son turned 2 on June 23rd and he plays real well with other kids but all of his friends are 4years old and older. Hope to hear from you soon

I have a 2 year old son also. He was born May 19, 2004. We live in gilbert. I need him to be around other children so he is able to play with others his age and to help him develop his speech.

My playgroup seems to have a lot of kiddos right around the 2 year mark - both boys and girls. Personally, my son is 18 months and gets along well with most of the other kids. There are some that are older and some younger buy many are right about that age. Plus, we are all mostly in the east valley although we're pretty spread out (from Queen Creek to Tempe and some in Maricopa now). Let me know if you are interested in trying us out! Thanks,

Hi I'm E. I have a to be 2 year old boy and a 5 year old that will be going to school half days so a playdate for just 2 year olds is a great idea. I have a friend next door that has a 2 year old boy also. I also take care of a 2 almost 3 year old girl. There of course are arange or other ages here also. Like I said I have a 5 year old boy and my friend with the 2 year old boy also has a 4 year old girl. I also take care of the 2 almost 3 year old sister with will be 4 next month. Sorry I babble.

Have you looked into joining your local mom's group? You usually find children of both sexes and all ages.
www.momsclub.org is the website that will help you locate the group in your area.
This has been a lifesaver for me and a wonderful experience with lasting friendships for my girls.

Hi A. - I'm a member of a playgroup in Chandler - Here's the link if you're interested in checking it out. http://groups.msn.com/AhwatukeeMommy They accept both full time working mom's and stay at home mom's. They plan weekly playdates - Peter Piper, Makutu's, Artville, The Zoo, Pump it Up, Hamilton Acquatic Center, parks, etc. (People even host them at their house) and about once a month us mom's do a night out just for us and those are always fun.
My daughter is the oldest in the group - she's 5 and starting Kindergarten. There are a few two year olds in the group - I think 5 and both boys and girls. Everyone is really nice. Good luck!
