I am in need of a new primary care physician, and am looking for someone (preferably on the NW side as we live in Arvada) who is comfortable working with patients who explore alternative treatments. I currently visit a chiropractor and acupuncturist, and also use alternative treatments (herbs, creams, dietary changes) to help manage my psoriasis. Any recommendations?

I don't have a specific recommendation for that part of town, but as a hint- you want a D.O. rather than an M.D. A D.O. has all the same qualificiations as a M.D. + more training in alternative medicine.

I have a great doctor adn hes in Arvada. He is with Arvada Pediratics and his name is Dr. John Barbe ###-###-####. I wanted an alternative vaccination schedule and he let me create one that worked with me and my family and I know that he has paients taht dont vaccinate at all, so knowing that I would say that he seems very willing to work with parents. I did see Dr. Shau in that office as well and I din't care for her, she wasn't as willing to work with parents, but Dr. Barbe we love!
