Hey M., I asked the same question not too long ago because we just moved to Lincoln; but NO ONE answered me. So, if you get any referrals, would you mind sending them my way? I would really appreciate it! Thanks and good luck in your quest for a doc. I hope your pregnancy is enjoyable.

Sorry - not female, but YES: Women's Clinic of Lincoln. I see Dr. James Maly. The man is a saint. Two of my three pregnancies were very high risk. They are taking new patients. I work with a lot of physicians - my middle son has special needs. I have not come across any practice that focuses on the doctor-patient relationship more than they do at the Women's Clinic. Good luck!

I go to Women's Clinic w/Dr. Swanson. Not female, but he is great & nurses, too! This is my 2nd high risk pregnancy and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are always so caring and concerned!

My friend is @ 22 weeks & just switched doctors this week from Dr. Christine Stevens. She said she was too rude (final straw was telling her she was fat - she started off underweight & has only gained about 12 lbs. not fat!) and short with her.

Hope this helps!

I see Dr. Deb Placek at the Women's Health Care Center just south of 40th & Old Cheney. She is wonderful, and I would not want to go anywhere else.

I have heard a lot of great things about Women's Clinic as well - and Dr. Swanson is actually my uncle-in-law :o) But I was like you and wanted a woman (and non-family) and I went to Gynecology and Fertility PC - they are in the Medical Plaza at Bryan East - I see Dr. Mahoney and just love love love her! I had a complicated delivery with my first and she was excellent - my second was an agreed upon c-section. I would never dream of going to anyone else. On that note - I also like the other doctors in the clinic as well, and they are all women.
