Hi A.,

The best cleaner is Simple Green. It is concentrated so it goes a long way. You can clean anything with it.
I know this because me and my husband have a house cleaning business and we use it all the time.

Try it. You won't be sorry.

I used Maleleuca for a while, but you have to buy into it monthly, etc and there are so many more on the market as good or better.
Vinegar & baking soda are great.
Green Works too
Method is the Target Brand.
Then, Whole Foods, Central Market, Tom Thumb, etc... all have tons of choices.

GOOD LUCK

I've switched to vinegar & baking soda mostly so I can clean while my kids hang around (I got sick of cleaning bathrooms at midnight!) This site has been helpful.

I make my own cleaners and use the veggie based soap that seventh generation makes.

If you're willing to make your own cleaners, here are a few suggestions:

Half olive oil ad half lemon juice= furniture polish (spray bottle, shake, spritz on cloth, wipe wood)

Half cup white vinegar and bucket hot water= floor cleaner

Lemon slices or juice= rust stain and mineral deposit remover

Cornstarch= grease absorber

Buying them? Clorox Green Works is the cheapest I've come across.

I know their Spray anywhere cleaner is very safe and non-toxic too. I love it and use it all the time now.

We use white vinegar which I keep in a spray bottle (labeled). I use it on all hard surfaces and the tile and wood floor too. It makes faucets shine so nice! I also use it on my kitchen table before and after meals.

We like citrus oil on my stainless items. I also like it on my wood furniture. I

know it is not so natural - but I use regular Clorox in the bathrooms.

Best wishes!

New on the market is the line of natural cleaning products that are as effective as conventional cleaners but made from plant-based ingredients from the Clorox family. They are called Green Works by Clorox and I think that they are worth your while. Good Luck!

I use Melaleuca cleaning stuff. It is great and I like everything I have tried thus far including laundry care. It is super concentrated and lasts a long time. The website is www.melaleuca.com. It is sold though consultants or members but I signed up for the membership since I order different things monthly. I have found that the price comparison is either the same or a little cheaper than store bought stuff.

Meyers is my favorite. I am very sensitive to all chemical cleaners after I had my children so I use it for everything. You can find it at Market Street grocery possbily the new sprouts in Frisco or whole foods as well as Tom Thumb I believe. I dilute the lavender cleanser with water and put it in a spray bottle, I use it for everything. They also have other great products. Shaklee is good as well but it is more expensive and you have to find a distributor. Good luck. JR

hi A...

i use melaleuca. my youngest daughter is sensative to most chemical cleaners, and i use their products. the laundry soap is the only one i could use. before mela, i used a mix of vinegar, water, and tea tree oil. if i had a tough job, like scouring, i used bon ami, which is non toxic also. i also love to clean with baking soda. the house will have a nice clean smell. the nice thing about mela, the prices are good, products are concentrated and the products are delivered to your door, so no heavy lugging. :D i have had the same 96 oz bottle of laundry soap since early november and i am just finishing the bottle today!

I use water with a touch of lavender oil. It works as an antibacterial. I saw it on how clean is your house, the British ladies had it on their show. I got the lavender drops from sun harvest and filled up a bottle and just poured some in there and I use it on my kitchen counters and it smells awesome!

I love the Clorox "Hard Surface Anywhere" cleaner. IT is safe to spray around kids, pets, food, and still is 99% antibacterial. No harsh fumes and perfect for cleaning high chairs, toys, kitchen cabinets, bathroom counters, etc. I love it and use it around any and all things my kids handle.

Hi A.,

I used to use Seventh Generation-seemed I had to use a lot to get the job done and I had to buy it often because I kept running out. I also used Myers (I found it at H.E.B.) and again I was limited on what I could buy there. I now use Melaleuca products because they save me time and money. Their products get the job done and I can order either online or through their toll-free number. I have been a customer for 4 years and wouldn't use anything else. I have seen a big difference in my family's health as well. Let me know if you would like more information. I will also be happy to send you some different cleaning tips.

Blessings
M.

we used to use melaleuca but found out they aren't as clean as i thought. we mainly use vinegar and baking soda now. it's easy and it works and while the vinegar does smell, it dissipates rapidly. if you have a whole foods around you they have a lot of choices, seventh generation is a good one and dr. bronners soaps can be used for lots of things.
