Looking for Moms Groups in or near Evanston, IL

Most of the Moms are in the NW side of Chicago but Evanston is our area as well. I am too a new stay at home mom in NW evanston. I have a 6 month old son. We just joined gymboree at old orchard and also are looking into some other more playgroup type things with some people I have met through the site.

I live in Evanston and have 7 month old boy/girl twins. I am wanting to meet other moms and get together for playgroups. I would be happy to meet and talk.

As for more formal groups, I just joined the Parent Circle, which offers activities for the moms to meet as well as playgroups. I am new to it, but I have been quite pleased with the people that I have met and with the programs offerred.

I am not sure of a group in or around evanston, but I am a married 28 yr old mom with a new baby girl that is 5 1/2 mos old that would like to meet people around us as well. I have a 6 month old daughter and live in Evanston. We are just starting a play group beginning tomorrow. We'd love to have you join us. Right now there are about 6-8 babies ranging in age from 5 months to 8 months that will be part of the group. I live in Rogers Park and just became a memeber of the Northside Parents Network...they have a fantastic website to check out (northsideparents.org I think...) school directories, mom's groups by zip code (so the parents you meet are in your immediate area) and it's been just wonderful. I'm in the 60645 group but there's plenty to choose from. Maybe I'll meet you there.
