Looking for Moms Day Out Program

I am looking for Moms Day Out program for my 2 year old son in the N. Fort Worth/Keller area. I am looking for something that only meets one or two days a week. I would like something that focuses on early learning in a fun, engaging, hands-on way. As a stay-at home mom, I am also looking for something reasonably priced. I would appreciate any suggestions people have.

I'm taking my little boy to Fellowship of the Parks in Keller. I don't know if they still have space or not, and this is my first year there b/c the other one we've always attended closed this year. Their website is:
www.fellowshipoftheparks.com if you want to try and contact them.
Hope you find someplace! :-)

My boys also attend the Fellowship of the Parks MDO program. The went last year in the 2yr old class and just turned 3 and will be going again this year. They absolutely LOVE going there and I have nothing but good things to say about it. They learned so much in the time they are there. Also having activities, music, stretch and grow, etc.
It's located on N Beach and Alta Vista just before Heritage Trace. However I believe every class now has a waiting list so you'd need to contact them soon to see if there any openings still. I know the older 2's class is full and the 3yr olds had a waiting list but then people drop as well so it's worth a try ; )

Hi A.!

I've just enrolled my "will be 2 yrs in September" son at Angel Land Preschool with North Richland Hills Baptist Church. It's located (roughly) at Rufe Snow and Glenview and is super easy to get to any time of day. Their program is 8:30 - 2:30 and costs $180 month for two days a week. We go to church there, too, and the facilities are always clean and Adam loves his teachers on Sunday. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. They start on Tuesday, September 2.

Hello,
My daughter is 2 as well and she is starting a Mom's Day out program in September. She was also enrolled last year and she and I both loved it. I too live in North Fort Worth, but I drive to North Richland Hills for the Mom's Day out Program. It's at Legacy Church of Christ. You could call and see if they have any opening left. It's a very well run, curriculum/Christian based program. It is $145 a month.
Here is the website.

I hope this helps.

Hi A.,
We are beginning a Parents Day out program at our church, LIFEchurch at 7850 Davis Blvd in NRH next Tuesday, September 2. They will be using the Abeka curriculum. It is a great teaching tool and the kids learn so quickly. Tuesday and Thursdays, 9am-2pm. Here's a link for more info.

My son attends Southlake Christian Preschool at Southlake Boulevard Church. It is near the intersection of Davis and Keller Parkway (1709). It is everything you described that you want and more. I can't say enough for the loving environment that is bright, fun, and full of learning. School days are Tue/Thur from 9-2. I think tuition is $160 a month this year. There are registration and supply fees too. I can't remember the exact amount, but they were comparable to the other schools I looked into. They have a lot of fun activities throughout the school year, like Western Day where they bring ponies and a petting zoo to the parking lot. Parents are very welcome there, especially during special events. For example, they will tell you what time your child's class would go to the petting zoo or the Halloween parade where they trick or treat through the school. We live in North Fort Worth in VOWS, and it only takes us 10-15 minutes to get there. Contact the director, Emily Young, for more info at ###-###-####. They gave me a tour before we signed up the first year. Good luck!

Hi A. H!! We attend Fossil Creek Community Church on Riverside off of Western Center and the kids love it. They have ABEKA curriculum, music time, free play, outside time and everyone's so loving. I even sub there from time to time. They also have video surveilance in every room and an area where parents can watch their children interact. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I second Abbi's recommendation for Fellowship of the Parks. My oldest son went there for the 3 year old and 4 year old program. My youngest son attended the 2 year old program last year and is enrolled in the 3 year old one this year. I have never been disappointed in the program in anyway. The director is great and all the teachers are wonderful. Both of my son's have loved it. I used to live in Park Glen, but we moved near the Speedway last year, and I still make the drive there. The program is Tuesday / Thursday 9:00-2:00 and $160 a month.

I work at New Creation Preschool which is at the Met Church in Keller. I have been there for four years and my daughter and I love it there! It is such a wonderful program, I really can't say enough good things about it. I really think it would be everything you are looking for. As far as a price I am pretty sure they are comparable to most other preschools in the area. The only thing is I know a lot of the classes are full, but it woulnd't hurt to check. You can look up all the info at www.metchurch.com click on ministries and then on New Creation preschool.

my kids both 7 and 4 have gone to chapel hill childrens school for the past seven years. I started them when they were one. it is not cheap though but so worth it. I used to drive form Fort Worth to take them there then we moved to southlake. HOwever, if you are looking for something closer and more aforadable many of my friends in the parkwood hill area over in keller fort worth are taking thier kiddos and have been for a while to TreeTop preschool. NOt sure if it is religious or not but a great school safe and clean and very sweet, they learn alot there. Good Luck, kind of late to be looking many of them start signing kids up in Feb just to let you know. Have fun

We like St. Philip Preschool and Parents' day out in Hurst. Your child can go one or up to five days a week. It is reasonably priced, and goes from 9:30-2:30 which a lot of preschools I have found only go half days. The phone # is ###-###-####
