Looking for Mom Friends in the Dearborn Heights Area

I am also a working mom and I live in Dearborn. My daughter was born in July 2006. I started a MOMS Club before I went back to work. It is a local chapter of the International MOMS Club for Dearborn and Dearborn Heights. Unfortunately it is a support group for stay at home moms which i no longer am. I am still the president of the chapter even though I have returned to work, which has not been easy. I have made some really great friends through this group but I would love to meet other moms that are in the same situation I am in, being a working mom. I don't know what time you work until but one of the things I have done to still try and be active with the group is a late playgroup that meets once a month at 4pm and we do a MOMS Night Out once a month and this month we are trying a couples night out for the first time. Let me know if you are interested in finding out more about our group. Another thing I am going to try and do this month is the story time the Dearborn library does in the evenings, but I don't know the schedule for Jan yet. Maybe we could meet at the storytime. -E.

Hi C.. In what part of DHeights do you live? I live in Southgate, and am a member of some moms groups that have playdates. For example, a couple of groups that cover Wayne County, and a couple of groups that cover the Downriver area & nearby. I am also involved in a newly-formed MOPS group in Allen Park.
