Looking for Maternity Clothes - Lake Worth,FL

My regular clothes are starting to get tight, and so I just started looking for maternity clothes... Where can I find good quality maternity clothes that don't cost a fortune? And decent looking tops that aren't "form fitting" but don't look like tents either?

What can I do next?

Look @ Consignment Shops (Kids-N-More - Lantana) women don't wear maternity clothes long so they are pretty much always like new... That's what I did and I didn't spend much @ all in clothes... Sometimes you'll find stuff that has never been worn w/the tags still on... Or Sometimes there are GOOD sales @ Motherhood Store in the mall...

Motherhood Maternity has reasonably priced clothes. They have a pretty good selection as well. Also, Target carries a Liz Lange line of clothes. I used to get all my t-shirts from Target. I was there the other day, and it seems like they've got some pretty nice styles for maternity clothing. You also might want to check the web as well. Sometimes, you can get some good deals.

Hi J., I'm T., 37 and pregnant with our second child... congratulations to you! Motherhood is wonderful... especially at our age!
I found some awesome deals on maternity clothes at Target for my first pregnancy. Check out the sales racks... look for the pink tags (Liz Lange). It's often mixed in with the regular clothes. The one thing I paid full price for was a maternity bathing suit... but just about everything else was sale priced. I might have purchased a pair of shorts at Walmart, too. I purchases a few outfits at Old Navy in Boynton (Congress Ave). One of my favs was my denim shorts. They had a waistband and the cutest sash belt! And Old Navy makes maternity t-shirts that look just like their regular ts... no frills, gathers, bows, etc...
I bought very little at Motherhood (not my style)... I found the cheapest place to buy a nursing bra (for much later) was Walmart! I did buy a special occasion dress at Mimi Maternity in Wellington Mall... but shopped the sale rack and it only cost $40.
Shop around, pick up a few pieces at a time. Your size will change/shift as you progress through your term. I know even though everything fit me fine all along... NOTHING fit well in the last few weeks. (That's when I had XL drawstring waist shorts from Old Navy and a matching tshirt to wear around the house.) Go for comfort, too... nothing too tight around the waist. Some of those pants/shorts had bands on them that ended up being binding.
Best Wishes!

Motherhood Maternity & Mimi Maternity are good. Also, Old Navy (some stores) carries maternity, Target, & JC Penney. Where do you live? The major malls usually have maternity stores. I live in Wellington & they have all that I mentioned except Old Navy & Target. The closest Old Navy is Boynton Bch. Ebay also is a good (inexpensive) way to go although you can't try it on obviously. I have also gone on www.craigslist.org and was able to find someone in my area who was getting rid of her maternity clothes. I got 12 items for $6! Good Luck!!

Have you tried motherhood or old navy maternity on line. I shoped at both of those places during my pregnancy and the clothes were not that expensive.

I'm a little late but for what it's worth....I shopped Old Navy Online (mostly b/c they didn't carry it in stores yet). Always check the clearance section of the website! Target has alot of great stuff too. You can find things at Ross occasionally too. Also, if you live near Boynton Beach, Kohl's just opened and they have a maternity department.

There's so much more of a selection these days....guess retailers are figuring out that pregnant women don't want to wear muu-muu's all the time!!!

Best of luck!

I would try Target, they have really cute maternity clothes for work and casual. Nothing too tight, but not a tent either. I got lots of clothes for both my pregnancies there and always felt good wearing them. Sometimes Motherhood carries cute things, but its hit or miss and Gap has a maternity set you can order online

Try motherhood or sale stuff at mimi. Target has great stuff as does old navy (as previously mentioned) and gap maternity sales are good. The best thing though is to get a few maternity bottoms (so that they're stretchy) and buy regular tops. Right now all of the baby doll tops are in so pick up a few of those (maybe in a bigger size). I mostly wore regular shirts my entire pregnancy and felt way cuter than I did in the tenty maternity ones and regular stuff is cheaper!

Motherhood in the mall; also check out Red Balloon in Lake Worth; it is a consignment store. Craigslist also has a lot of moms selling their old clothes...craigslist.org. Congrats!
