Hi,
I am new to the area and have a four year old son and a 7mo old son. My 4 yr old is haveing a hard time ajusting to the move and to "the little person who takes up a lot of mommy's time." I want to put him in a pre k program but all the ones i have found are really expensive. I really need some help, I don't want him to resent us from taking him away from his cousins (whom he's been playing with since birth)He tells me everyday that he misses them. I think if he met some kids his own age things would be a bit easier. if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.

What can I do next?

Hi, My name is A. and I have a 3 well soon to be 3yr. old he acts like he's 10. I'm not sure about daycare he doesn't go because I have not found one or heard anything good about one here yet. And the cost is kinda high. I have been here about 2yrs. But if he ever needs a play date don't hesitate to email us. You might want to find out if there are any mothers clubs around your area they are a real big help! A.

You need to call and ask about VPK! It is FREE for all 4 year olds! It is not available at all places since they have to volunteer for it.

I have my 4 1/2 year old enrolled in a VPK (voluntary pre-kindergarten) program. It's completely free. However, it's only 3 hours a day. My son goes from 9-12. He loves it, though.

Hi S.,

I am also from Hudson and having the same "trouble" with my 3 1/2 year old. I have a 1-year-old daughter and I care for my nephew who is 7-months-old full time. I am looking for someone for my son to play with also. We are located in Pine Ridge at Sugarcreek off SR 52 and Moon Lake Road. Let me know if you're interested in getting together. I think the all kids would have a great time together.
Sincerely,

G. J.
