My husband and I love the Baker's Branch neighborhood, which is on Gerault. It is near the Flower Mound Community Activity Center (CAC), and all of the houses sit on larger lots (~1/3 to 1/2 acre). It also feeds into our favorite schools.

I'll second the other comment though that I think any area in Flower Mound is great for families. The schools are wonderful!

I am happy to give you our realtor's information. He knows Flower Mound well, and he is a great deal finder. His name is John Ryckeley, and his number is ###-###-####.

I have lived in Flower Mound for 5yrs and absolutely love it. Honestly anywhere you go is going to feed to a good school so dont let the school determine your area. You should defiantly be able to find a nice home in that price range. Flower Mound might seem big but it has a small town feel which is why my family moved there to begin with.
Good Luck

Good Morning K.,
I live in an area called Sherwood estates. There are several homes in our area on the market right now, it just depends on how many bedrooms you are looking for. The elementary school the kids go to is Donald, middle school is Forrestwood and the HS is Flower Mound High and all are rated exemplary! I have a child in each school and the schools are wonderful. The CAC(Community Activity Center) is less than 1 mile away. They have an indoor pool and an outdoor water park, as well as a gym, various fitness classes, etc... All schools in Flower Mound are rated exemplary, so there are no bad areas as far as schools go. If you have any other questions, just let me know.
Thanks
George

Hi K.,

You really can't go wrong in Flower Mound. You may not find a neighborhood with a community pool, but FM has a great new community center with a fantastic pool. If you haven't already found a Realtor to help with your search, I'd love to help! I am a Realtor with Keller Williams here in Flower Mound, and know the area well. Call or email anytime... ###-###-#### or ____@____.com. Thanks!

Look at the neighborhoods around the Valley Ridge and Moriss area. They are nice houses and the two newest developments have a community pool. The schools are great and it is a two or three min drive to all of the new shopping. We lived there for about four years before recently moving into Dallas (for my husbands commute) and I really loved the area.

You should consider Wellington. It offers exactly what you described. All schools it feeds in to are Blue Ribbon(2 elementary, 1 middle, 1 HS). We have 2 great pools and loads of amentites, tennis, fitness, community center etc...Most of ll it is a tight knit family neighborhood. Kids where ever you look. Good luck!
