Looking for Good OBGYN in Plano/Allen/Frisco

We're relatively new to the area, and my hubby and I are planning on trying for our next child in the near future. We lost our 1st child from an umbilical cord accident at 38 weeks and finally had a healthy 2nd child the following year thanks to an incredible OBGYN. Now that we've moved across the country, I'm looking for a new OBGYN that really listens and cares about his/her patients, since I have a lot of anxiety about another pregnancy. Does anyone have any recommendations? Any recommendations for hospitals, too? I heard Baylor Frisco is great, but they aren't equipped to handle any major problems.

What can I do next?

Northlake Obgyn is great! They have office at Medical City, Presby Plano, and Baylor Frisco. Dr. Ruk was amazing when I had my baby but from what I understand all the doctors are great.

I highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Tracy Elliott at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco. She has been my OB/GYN for both of my babies. I can not say enough good things about her, or her staff. They are all incredible. I was actually a little sad when I didn't get to see them on such a regular basis after my babies were born. It is like going to see a bunch of your good friends. :o)

I also recommend Dr. Gebert. He is very conservative in his practice. I had three high risk pregnancies with complications and he got me through all of them. He is very hands on and involved with his patients.

I've used Dr. Alvin Gebert for over 15 years now and he has been great. I had lots of complications with my 1st pregnancy (bled entire 1st trimester, low amniotic fluid in the 3rd) and he was on top of it all. He did all his own sonos (has a 3d machine too) which I loved! He was always very hands on, but did not hesitate to send me to a specialist (perinatologist) when things started getting complicated. He is very conservative in the way he handles things, but also stays on top of the latest information and procedures. Dr. Gebert has seen me through endometriosis, cancer, two complicated pregnancies, and a hysterectomy. He delivers at both Presby Plano and Baylor Frisco, but will only deliver at Plano if you have ANY type of complication since they have the better NICU and facilities for that sort of thing.

Anyway, his number is ###-###-#### if you would like to give him a call. Good luck with finding the right doctor.
