Hello,

Children are out of school. Due to so much rain or wet grounds it had been difficult to take them to Park. So I am looking for other fun and inexpensive places we can visit.

thanks

The Coppell Public Libary does a number of free things throughout the summer. You can check out their calender online. My 2 1/2 yr old loves going to the library if only to just play and read books.

The aquatic center is also pretty cheap and a good way to cool off. I think it's $4 for residents and children are probably cheaper.

Kidsmuze is an indoor play area that your children might like. I don't know how much they charge for kids though. I think they have gotten rid of charging for adults now.

Irving Arts Center is also doing a number of family/children's events. I think the tickets were around $3 for some of them. You can also look at the galleries for free I think.

Story time in Valley Ranch library. Mrs. Stephanie is the best!!!
My son is 5 1/2 and still likes it but sometimes gets bored.

Indoor playground in Irving Bible Church (is close to Target / Sams / Kohls in Las Colinas, Irving). Free and Airconditioned. Very often there are more kids so they can play together. Open everyday, you don't have to attend church. Good for kids from walkers to I guess 9 years old.

And let's hope the rain will stop!!!!

Good luck, I.

The library is a great suggestion. Between the Irving and Coppell libraries you should have lots of story times to attend! They are fun for the kids, they love singing and dancing. :o)

You could also try the Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville. It's not that far from Coppell and Valley Ranch. They have a play area near Dillards.
