Please let me know of any great preschools in the Buford area. I'm looking for a part time preschool (private or GA preK)not daycare for my 4 year old. New to the area, please HELP!!

this may not be convenient to you depending on where you are in buford, buy my son attended Celebration Academy for two years (3 and 4 y.o.) and we were very happy with it. It's actually in Hoschton, but right near some areas of buford. I think the web site is celebrationacademygeorgia.com .. it's part of Celebration Baptist Church.
Please check out Blessing of Grace. They are located at The Ridge church on Ridge Road in Buford. My daughter went to school there last year. She loved it!!! I will be teaching Art and Sign Language there in the fall. The program is very hand on and based on a home schooling program. They offer classes from PMO to Pre-K. I have used North Metro Baptist preschool for 2 years and have had a niece or nephew in the preschool for 12 years. It is a great preschool. It's located off 20 (about 5 minutes from the mall of GA). Sherlene is the Director and she does a great job! The hours are 9 to 12 and you can add lunch until 1 for $3 more a day. The cost is reasonable and the care is wonderful. They offer 5 day or 3 week for 4 year olds. Good luck in your search!
my daughter will attend Shadowbrook Baptist Preschool in Suwanee this fall. Everyone I've talked to says they are fabulous. Since enrollment was in Feb you would probably be put on a waiting list.
I have a friend who teaches 2yo ( and her mother teaches 3yo) at Buford First United Methodist and I think it's a pretty good school. Also Sugar Hill Presbyterian was recommended to me by a mother of one of my son's classmates. It is located on Buford Hwy just south of Hwy 20.

My daughter goes to FBC Sugar Hill. It is off of Hwy 20 near Peachtree Industrial. They have a 3, 4, or 5 day Pre-K. 9am-1pm. I don't know if they are booked up or not. My daughter took pre-k there last year and my 2 yr old starts this fall. You may be wait listed, but it is worth a shot. I have been very pleased with them. The church also goes by The Family Church. ###-###-####. You can also try the FBC Buford which is located on Hamilton Mill near Buford Hwy and I know the Methodist Church in Sugar Hill on Hwy 20 between Peachtree Ind and Buford Hwy also has a great Pre-K.
