I have a 5mo old who currently stays with my mom during the day while I'm at work. I have been looking since I was 6mo pregnant for a good work-at-home opportunity. I even considered selling Pampered Chef products since I like them so much, but realized that doing "shows" in other people's homes doesn't really constitute working at home. I would really like to stay at home with my daughter (it's so hard to leave her every day!), but economically, it's just not possible right now.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not writing to offer any good advice, mostly just moral support. I did try to do Melaleuca and I would recommend staying away from them. I know there are a couple of ladies on Mamasource that peddle Melaleuca, but I haven't found their products to be worth the expense. It's just another shade of Amway.

Hello K.. I can totally sympathize with your situation. I was laid off in 03, got pregnant quickly thereafter, and was determined after I had children to be at home with them no matter what.
