Looking for Double Stroller for Infant and Toddler

What's the best stroller option for infant (3month old) and toddler (2 1/2 years)? My toddler walks most of the time, but need a double stroller still. Any advice? This would be mostly for travel and the malls.

What can I do next?

I invested big $ for the Eddie Baurer Tandem stroller and right now it is collecting dust in my basement. It was way to heavy and hard to steer. I finally got the Evenflo tandum stroller at Target for $89 and LOVE it. My 3 yr old prefers to walk most of the time too, but I also want a spot for him to sit when I need him too. Our 1 yr old fits great in the front. It's a great stroller for quick trips or walks. The bummer is that it doesn't have a parent tray or a second tray in the back for snacks.

Good luck!

Hi ~ Our second child was born when our oldest was 3 1/2 and after asking many of my friends who had been through the same scenario, they all suggested the Swan Sit n' Stand. (we found ours at Babies R Us in Richfield...) We have been very, very pleased with the stroller, which I believe was approx $150 a couple of years ago. (We spent about $250 on our first single stroller and hated it!)

Good luck!

I have the same ages pretty much..i have a 3yr old (on tues.) and a 4month old and I LOVE this evenflow one http://store.yahoo.com/comfort1st/evcitotadost.html I got it in a brown color at babies r' us and I really love it. My older one can ride in the back making it easier to maneaver and he can get in and out very easily so I don't have to lift him out each time! I like that the baby carrier can go in the front. It has nice parent trays and kids trays and bags for snacks and toys! It has a Huge basket that is easy to get to too! It is also a nice price and my Graco infant carrier fits with it so I didn't have to buy a new one. I looked a really long time for mine because my oldest one is soo tall but I needed to keep him contained. Ok..LOL..hope that helps!

I found that I did not use a double stroller too much, but they do come in handy occaisionally. I bought one from a neighbor for like $35 so I didn't feel guilty about not getting my money's worth. ( My daughter was 2 when our 2nd arrived.)Ours is not a jogger, as I kept hearing those are too wide for many places , and I know that was the right decision for us--in this case I would only get a side by side if you do actually jog with your kids. Hope that helps!

Hi S., the best option for me was and still is a step that uou hang at the back of the stroller so your toddler could walk when he wants but he gets this option of being on a stroller (stand up) when he's tired. My two children love(d) it.
