There is a special for the first Wednesday's sponsored by Target where admission is just $2 from 5-7PM. May be late in the day but what a great price!

It's my understanding that because the museum has recently moved to their new location, Memorial Hall in Fairmount park, that there are no coupons circulating at this time.

My husband and I were going to bring my daughter in November but couldn't stomach the $15 each entrance fee, and the extra $5 for a decent parking space.

If your kids are under 5 go to the smith memorial playhouse instead. It's in fairmount park too and it's free. The only thing is it's not open on Mondays.

Have fun in Philly!

O. thought--If all else fails, and you're a member of AAA, ask if they give a discount for that--you'd be amazed at how many places knock 10% off for AAA members!

See if the musuem is part of a network of musuems that you pay 1 price aroun 75 for a family and get a year of admissions to over 200 musuems in the US alone.

check on line sometimes there are deals offered.

If you have a Free Library of Philadelphia Card, you can get passes to go to the Museum for FREE! It is called a PLAY PASS and is available at the Main Library at 19th and Vine and the 2 regional branches (one is in West Philly near 52nd and Chestnut Sts.).

We just took our girls there a few weeks ago. We bought our tickets at AAA. I think it was $13 each instead of $15. You have to purchase them at an AAA office. Everyone age 1 and up is the same price. And then when you get there it costs $5 to park in their lot. Also, if you want to take your kids on the carousel there is another charge for that. I forget what it was. Food is very expensive, too, but my girls did have a lot of fun. They are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2.

Do you have a "Kidstuff" coupon booklet? There should be coupon in there but if I remember its not much of a discount. Check the PHiladelphia Visitors Bureau also (at Independence Park) MIGHT also be in the Entertainment Book.

I just looked up on my AAA account and the savings is 1.50 per ticket. WOW, we're practically getting in for free now! What a slap in the face.
