We will be moving to the Haslet TX area in March and would like to find a reputable christian preschool for our very active 3-year-old. I am willing to drive to Keller if necessary, but would like to stay close to the area.
Thank you

Hi S.,

I moved to Haslet this summer. I found a wonderful preschool for my very, very active three year old little boy. Its called Seven Hills Christian Academy. They only take ages 2-6. Child must be potty trained. I love the teachers and the atmosphere for my little one. The phone number is ###-###-####. Brenda Franks is the director.

Hi S.. I work in Haslet, and I recently called the local churches to inquire about preschool for my daughter. The only one I found in Haslet is at Holy Shepard Lutheran Church on Hwy 156. I would have put my daughter there, but they didn't have any spots available for her age (she's almost 5 and will be starting kindergarten next fall). Hope this helps.

I thought someone already gave you this one but here is my vote!

Discovery School at Smithfield Methodist Church.

I live in Saginaw and it is not far for me. You live closer than I do. My husband is in education and I was a preschool teacher for the last three years. I am pretty hard to please. After a month of research, I narrowed it down to a list of about 10 preschools. My husband and I looked toured six different highly recommended programs in the area off our list and really liked this one the most. My daughter is four but did not turn 4 until December 3, so she is in one of the three year old classes.

I did not want day care. I did not want just Mothers Day Out. I did not want to pay a 200.00 a WEEK for a few days of real preschool. I wanted something affordable but I also wanted everything the unaffordable schools offered.

Discovery School is a Christian Preschool accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. NAEYC is the largest and most respected early childhood organization in the nation. I felt at home the minute I met the director and my daughter left a wonderful program so it had to be special. She loves it. I am impressed and very happy with my choice.

I'd highly recommend "Discovery School." It is just a touch south of Keller, in North Richland Hills. We have been there for 6 years now, first with my oldest, now with my youngest. They also have a private kindergarten we didn't use with the oldest, but now that we are in Keller, we'll be staying there for kinder. They are attached to Smithfield United Methodist. We aren't affiliated with the church, but have been please by the community there. It's a great school, and the director that is there now, was the one who started the school 20+ years ago! http://www.smithfieldumc.org/DiscoverySchool/dis_school_h...
