I used The Village School for my daughter and son and I loved it. The owner is wonderful and all the teachers have been there for a very long time. Ms. Leslie was my daughters teacher and she still talks about her. The school is on 1521 Arapaho road and the telephone # is ###-###-####. I hope your son loves it as much as my daughter and son did.
Good luck to you.
Sincerely
A. McElhone

Hi, I didn't know if you were looking for home day cares but Tricia who is in the Mamasource Directory under Little Buds just got registered and has a son who is three. She only wants to take bigger kids and do a curriculum with them. She is a very sweet person and will go out of her way to help you out. You may want to give her a call.

I just moved to Richardson and my son is 3 1/2, goes to Little Scholars at Home daycare and he loves it!!! She is city and state certified.
Other certifications:
Teacher certified, Early childhood-4
first aid
cpr

She has a set schedule that she follows and she really works with kids educationally. Everyday they go over the calender and they have a new theme and letter each week. My son is already learning to read! Here is her information:
Connie Halferty
Little Scholars Daycare

Call her and she will send you all kinds of information, she is very well organized and great with the kids.

If you have anymore questions let me know.

If you are looking for a Christian-based program, my church has an excellent one!! The program is at First United Methodist Church Richardson. The website page is www.fumcr.com/pages/childrenafterschool

It is an NAEYC accredited program. FUMCR is located on Beltline Road, just west of Central Expressway. We will be moving to our new location on Central - just north of our current location - in March, 2006. You have probably seen the facility being built! Good luck in your search!

Hi, J.! Welcome to area. I am a SAHM mom to two children, Ainsley (4) and Isaac (15 months). I don't know if you had considered in-home care, but I have an opening. I only keep one or two children in addition to my own, and right now I am losing the two children that I care for--one starts kindergarten in a couple weeks and the other has moved to Boston. My baby is the youngest that I'll have. We area Christian family and have age-appropriate learning time everyday, and I offer healthy meals. I charge $85/week for full-time care. Please give me a call if you are interested in talking further. I live close to Richardson Square Mall if you know where that is (Buckingham and Plano Rd.) Good luck! P. B. ###-###-####
