I am looking for a mom who has a child around 2 years old that lives in Athens. I need someone that my son can play with and interact with. I need someone else to talk to and become friends with.
check out athens mothers center look them up online, they meet tuesday and friday from 930 to 1130 at st gregory's? church on barnett shoals it's awesome - lots of moms, and when they're older (or now) kids can go to a daycare in the other room, allowing moms to talk, it is great! sorry typing with one hand, nursing my 4mo old
I live in Hartwell but I'm originally from Athens. I'm always looking for kids for my little one to play with. He's 2 and I stay at home w/him so he doesn't get to play w/kids his age much. I am the Coordinator for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Watkinsville. Right now we are on our summer break and get together once or twice a month to play or go on mini field trips. In September we will be meeting twice a month the first and third Thursdays for our meetings. The children have a great time in their classes playing and learning Bible stories while our Moms get to spend time with other Moms talking and listening to great speakers.
