My mother who lives in another state advised me to use a midwife when I deliver. I don't know of anyone here and so I am looking for recommendations or any information you might have on a good midwife. Thanks for your help!

I second Jodie's recommendation...the midwives at Heaven Sent Birth are fantastic!! I plan to use them when we have a second. The only others I know of in this area are at OU, but I don't know any of them personally.

For my girls, I delivered in a hospital but used the Bradley Method and made everyone keep their hands off. I dont know any midwives personally, but if I were looking, I'd talk to Linda over at Nature's Treasures in Midwest City first. Its a metaphysical and holistics shop that's been around forever and she's the owner. If there's anyone you should know - or know to steer away from - I bet she can tell you. ###-###-#### Congrats! :]

I've heard that Heaven Sent Birth is wonderful. I've also heard that the midwives at OU Medical Center are great too. I've not used either place but both were recommended to me. You can google OU Midwives and their site should come up. Best of luck to you!
