Any help in locating local venues for children's furniture would be greatly appreciated. New/used doesn't matter as long as it is good condition and affordable.

You can check the newspaper(Sunday is best), pennysaver, craigslist, and thrift stores. The Goodwill sometimes even carries new items, I purchased a brand new dresser mirror for $20. Craig's list often has free furniture items listed, but you have to pick it up and be the first one there.

http://www.furnishings4less.com/Category.aspx?id=54&l... off name brand in Carlsbad)and there is also a place in Vista and Solana Beach. It is called Roomers but I may have the name wrong. I'll email you when I find it or someone else may respond with the right name.

Along with craigslist, I also check out my local thrift stores. I bought my sons twin bed frame and his bookshelf from the RBCPC Thrift store in Poway. And I just recently bought a kids dresser for my daughter there.

Craigslist San Diego is a great place look. I've purchased and sold many things. Also, check out the free section in craigslist. Sometimes people just want items gone, so if you can pick them up and are the first one there, it is yours.
Good luck.

For new furniture, Kids Furniture Outlet has a variety of inexpensive furniture for kids. It is on Miramar Rd in San Diego.

Hi! I don't know if this is already information you have, but craigslist.org and backpage.com are very good with furniture in this area. Be sure to ONLY buy locally, and you can always LYSOL everything, haha. I do! Good luck and I might check back to see if someone has a different idea, because I'm looking for furniture also.
