Does anyone know a good place I can find a tutu (like for a ballet recital) here in Colorado Springs? I'm looking for a red one for a toddler and don't know where to begin!

What can I do next?

I have a friend in Colorado Springs who makes tutus for little girls that are absolutely adorable. Her name is Brenlin. You can call her at ###-###-####. She charges about $20-$25 dollars and they are very high quality.

If you don't need a "real" tutu (like if it's for dress up or Halloween) you can make a no sew one very easy. You'll need some elastic and a roll of tulle. You can get both at Joann’s or Hobby Lobby (and they always have 40% off coupons - Joann’s' is on a flyer and Hobby Lobby is on line)

Take the elastic and cut a length to fit your little one. You can tie a strong knot in it or stitch the ends together with needle and thread to make a waist band. Decide how long you'd like the tutu and cut lengths double that size. Fold the strip in half and slip knot it around the waist band.

Hope you find what you need. This can be made for very little cost. I’d say if you can use a coupon, it’s less than $6.

Hope you find what you need!

I am not exactly sure if you are looking for a real tutu or a play tutu, but I can tell you that on Austin Bluffs Parkway, just before you get to Academy, there is a dancewear store behind the Sonic on the east side of the street (it is just past the junction with Barns). On the west side of the same street, there is a large shopping center with the Ark thrift store, Jamba juice, Salon school, ect, but there is a Dollar store in that shopping center that had simple tutus and wings the last time I was in there. I hope this helps!!

If you do not need it (like today), look on ebay. I am not sure if you have ever bought things off of there, but I have had no complaints. I just searched tutu on there and it came up with many different ones. Just a suggestion. When they grow out of things so quickly, it is a good way to get good things at low prices.

Thanks,
J.
