Hi Ladies and thanks in advance for your response.

I am looking for a reputable jeweler that is trustworthy to do a resize on my diamond engagement band. I would want it done on the premises, and if possible, while I wait.

Can anyone make any recommendations?

Thanks.

Hi K.,
I go to Walt's Jewelers at 143 E. Germann Rd. #110 SE Corner of Gilbert & Germann. ###-###-#### M-F 9:30-6 Sat 9:30-4
We moved here in 1986 and he used to be in the Bashas Shopping Center on Alma School Rd. He moved over to Germann much to my delight. What a unexpected bonus to say the least. He is very reliable, and trustworthy. It's a family owned business which makes it even better.
Hope you check him out. N. P.

I really like Gunnell's Jewelry. They are in downtown Mesa (so not really Southeast valley) 113 W. Main St. ###-###-####. That is where my husband got my engagement ring and I bought his wedding ring. They repaired my mom's wedding ring when it broke and it looks great. Also, my wedding ring got badly bent and they fixed it while I waited, I'm not sure how fast they would do a resizing, but I am very comfortable leaving my jewelry with them. It is a small family owned place that does a great job.

We've used Barnes Jewelers for 10-12 years. NE corner of Val Vista and Guadalupe, next to SteinMart. It's a family run business, so you get very personal service. They do all repairs there, and they also design many unique jewelry pieces. They always recognize us even though we haven't spent a lot of money there (wish we could! ;)
Many years ago, my wedding band broke and when I showed it to them, it wasn't clear whether they could just repair it or would need to redo it and reset the litle baguettes (which I think is a couple hundred). When I picked it up, they only charged me $35! And, they actually made it better than it was before so it wouldn't break again. They could've taken advantage of the situation with my most precious piece of jewelry, knowing that I'd probably pay a lot to have it wearable again. They're great.

Hi K., I get all my repairs done at Jared's on Val Vista and the 60. If they are not busy, the will fix it right in front of you, which I like since you hear of all the scary stories of diamonds being swapped out. Good luck!

I totally trust Jereds on Val Vista and the 60. They do all their repair work right there.

Hi, K. -
I have always used Ganem Jewelers on Rural, just south of US60. They have always been very professional, with very reasonable pricing, and I've never felt uncomfortable leaving any of my jewelry with them.
My wedding band recently broke, and they reshanked it for an excellent price, and the work they did was excellent. The ring was like new.
I think they would do a good job for you.

I definitely recommend Jimmy's fine jewelry on Main street between Greenfield & Val vista in Mesa. The name is kinda weird but it's a great little store and they are totally trustworthy. I have been going to them for the past 12 years and just recently had them repair my wedding ring (I lost a small side diamond) I don't think they normally do repairs while you wait but they may if they aren't too backed up in the shop. Its a small store but they are great. Good luck! -S
