I am looking for a pediatrician in the Libertyville area for my 4 year old son and 17 month old daughter. My son is struggling with eczema so I will also need a dermatologist for him too.

Dr. David Saltzman is a wonderful, warm, caring person - I have known him for many years on a personal level, and he's a great doc too. He has offices on Hollister in Libertyville, among other places. You can read a bit about him here:

Good luck with your search!

Lake Forest Pediatrics; Dr. Gadek. She has dealt with the eczema from my infant's (who is now 2) allergies. They are located in Mundelein, Lindenhurst and Lake Forest. I travel about 35-40 mins to see her - worth it! She is so busy; sometimes isn't taking new patients. Just get in the practice and then start making your appointments with her. I started seeing her through 3 recommendations from friends.

Good luck! J.

We use Lake Forest Pediatrics and Dr. Krissberg is phenomenal!!! We have a 4 1/2 year old that was born with some spinal birth defects and a new little guy that was born 8 weeks early. They are open 365 days a year and have sick hours every morning without appointments.

I have found them to be great. I know it's not in Libertyville but it's not too far... The are located in the 900 building of the Lake Forest Hospital Campus.

We really love our ped. Dr. Brian Sapp - affiliated with Lake Forest Hospital with offices in Gurnee and Vernon Hills. He is with the Vernon Hills Peds Group.
Good luck!

Hi Beverly,

My daughter also struggles from eczema also so I know how hard it is to control it. I go to Dr. Kos out of Children's Hospital. She has a office in Gurnee. Her number is ###-###-####. I just switched pediatricians I now go to Dr. Joyce Harris out of Lake Forest Peds. Her number there is ###-###-####. I hope you have good luck with these doctors.

Lake Forest Peds is wonderful. They have 3 offices - Vernon Hills, Lake Forest Hosp. and Linderhurst. We live in Volo and I continue to take my all three of mine to the Vernon Hills office. Our ped is Michael Terkildsen. They have 16 doctors and 8 nurse practitioners. I have never had any trouble getting the kids on a same day appointment. Also they have an 8 to 9 sick call every morning with no appointment necessary.

The thing I like most is that they share info with each other. We just had amajor scare with staph infections with my 2 boys and I really took advantage of the morning sick call as well as appointments. We worked with Dr T and Dr. A. Lasin. I can't thank them enough. They were able to keep both my boys from going to the hospital.

Good Luck!
