Looking for a Playgroup

Welcome to the area! I have a 25 month old son and 7 month old daughter and we belong to a local playgroup known as "Mom's Club". Ours is the Schertz area group, which is not far from you, but they are all over San Antonio and the country as well. If you go to their website.... www.momsclub.com and email them, they will contact you promptly about a group closest to you. They set you up in a playgroup with children of similar age and also have lots of activities available for you to attend each month. There is a small enrollment fee but it is worthwhile. There are lots of playgroups in this area. If you go to Meetup.com and search playgroups, you will likely find something close by. I am part of a playgroup in Schertz and just joined one in NE San Antonio. I have a 12 month old little boy and we also go to the local library in Schertz one day a week for storytime. He loves it!

I was in your shoes just 5 months ago. It's always hard in the beginning. I applaud you for jumping right in. San Antonio is a very friendly city. You'll do just fine.

You could visit www.meetup.com to find several playgroups in your area. Some require small fees, others are free. The meetup groups are a great way to connect with others in your community. Good luck!
