I want to take my 16 month old to a play center like Kid Muze or the Wiggles Play center but I need something close to where we live in Keller. I would like something indoors, safe, tunnles to crawl in and open on Monday's.

Also looking for parks with Toddler play area's.

Thanks for the help.

So What Happened?

We had a trial class at Gymboree in Southlake today and LOVED IT! So we signed up! It is very colorful and lots of things for my little one to crawl on, over, through and slide down. The games were fun and the teacher was great. I loved that they give you a Photo Album to keep your child's memories at Gymboree. Plus, the freeplay class during the week is wonderful! Thanks for all the help!

We recently did my twins 3 year birthday party at Paradise Pond in Grapevine. It's fantastic. (It's off of main street housed inside of First Baptist Church of Grapevine). It is a fabulous Indoor Playground and they have free play on Thursdays and Fridays 9-11am. There is a large climbing structure with a slide, a bounce house, and several "stations/mini-rooms" with a variety of activities (e.g. one that is a mini-grocery store, one that has cars/trucks, one that has legos, one that is for dress up, etc). Be sure to bring socks for your kids to wear as they are required to play.

I think you and your little one will enjoy it. I definitely give it a major stamp of approval as well in terms of renting it out for a private party (our twins bday party was wonderful)...they just book fast.

It is hard to find good indoor play spots. In terms of your requirement for finding something open on Mondays. I know it's not the best in the world, but our close-to home backup on a day when it's not good to be outdoors is the McDonalds playarea at the corner of Davis and 1709 in Keller. It has good climbing tunnels with a slide, and also a mini-slide on the exterior. We also have done the Chicfila on 1709 in Southlake but it is quite a bit smaller.

Best wishes!

I am not sure how far it wuld be from you but I love kiddin around. they have everything you could think of. They are licensed like a daycare center so you don't have to worry. They are cheper than most babysitters. And she would have a ton of other children to play with her age.

They great!

Trish,
Unfortunately, Kidz Muze is closed! I tried to go there two weeks ago :(. The closest park with a kids area I know of is on Johnson Road. You would take Rufe Snow off of 1709 and then take a left on Johnson road. The park is right by the Keller library. I am not super familiar with Keller so that is all the info I can provide.

I don't know about an indoor play area but Johnson Road Park has a great toddler area. It is by Keller High School. You should check it out.
