My daughter is 4 years old. We just had her well-child doctor visit. The doctor recommended that we take her to an optometrist to get her vision checked. No damage to the eye, just questionable vision. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for your help!
Hi everyone, I took my daughter to Bella Vista Family Eyecare in Rockford. Dr. Jackson was great with her! She was scared of all the big "machines" and he talked her through everything nicely. It was a great experience. Thank you all for your suggestions. And the best news is...her vision is fine. She doesn't need glasses. Thanks again!
Grand Rapids Opthamology is great. They have a few pediatric doc there that run out of the Michigan St. Office, that's where I take my kids. Good luck.

I take my kids to Bella Vista Family Eye Care, Dr. Chad Jackson ###-###-####. He is great with the kids. He has small children of his own. It is right on Belding Road, so this would be in your area. The strip mall in front of Timbers Restaurant.

We have been to Dr. Patrick Droste and he is wonderful. His office is off of Cascade Road near Spalding Dr. I have heard that he is the best in town. Best of Luck!

My son has been going to Dr. Robert Peters since he was about 3 and he is 5 now. His number is ###-###-####. I really love it there. The staff is kind and soothing to the kids in my opinion. My son is terrified of dialation/eyedrops and they have a good way of keeping him calm. They have an office in Cascade and one on Michigan by Spectrum-Butterworth. I have been to both offices, but go to the downtown one since it is closer to us. We live in Sparta, so it would be a similar drive for you.
