I would recommend The Independence Womens Clinic physicians. They are very good especially Dr. Michelle Lemberger. She is very nice and compassionate. The phone number is ###-###-####. They deliver at St. Mary's in blue springs and at MCI hospital in Independence (MCI has a level 3 NICU if you are high risk or have had preterm labor with a prior pregnancy. The new Centerpoint hospital may be open when you deliver which will be a fabulous high tech hospital. It will open sometime between next April and June. It is located next to the Independence AMC theatres. The Independence Women's clinic is located off 23rd street in Independence. Take I-70 to the 291-North exit to right on 23rd street. I work at MCI labor and delivery and would really recommend all the OB's there. There is also Hausheer Braby Group which has a nurse midwife as well as 4-5 other docs. I would recommend Dr. Adams if you like a humorous doc. The number their is ###-###-####. There is also Associated Womens clinic on 40 HWY in Blue springs and they have a nice group too. I would recommend Dr. Cobbinah she is great. That number is ###-###-####.
As for pediatricians in blue springs they have Cockerell and McIntosh pediatrics that has about 6 physicians and 2 NP's and a physicians assistant too. My favorite doc there is Dr. Kirby-Diaz and Dr. Van Biber. Michelle Roach an Nurse Practitioner is great too. One thing about this pediatric group is that you need to make your well child check ups far in advance cause they are very busy. If you have a sick kid that you want to be seen that day, call as early and as soon in the day as possible so that you have a better chance to be seen. Anyway, I hope this helps! The number for the ped. is ###-###-####. It is located on R.D. Mize road right by St. Mary's hospital.

Hi T.,
My name is J. and I live in Blue Springs. I work in surgery with a bunch of different doctors and my recommendation on a good OB/GYN. The names in the group are Dr. Hall, Dr. Trout, Dr. Lemburg, Dr. Gotnecht. Their office is right beside MCI hospital. My opinion is they are the best good we have in the hospital. They are my first choice. My second choice would be Dr. Stephanie Carpino. You can find them all in the Phone Book.
Good luck
J.

I'm hoping that by now you've found a great OB/GYN. St. Mary's Hospital is a great place to deliver and they just in the last month have introduced a NICU unit..I believe it is Level 3. All the nurses that were there when I delivered were great, very helpful with everything. Centerpoint is also getting ready to open shortly after the first of the year and I hear its going to be an amazing place. Good luck with your pregnancy!
