Hello M.,

Not sure if your willing to drive approx 25 mins but With Out Walls lakeland Fl is out standing . Pastors Scott & Cindy Thomas are excellant Pastors. The only thing that I encourage is that you are led by God where you should worship. It's not a matter of picking a church it's a matter of plugging in to where your supposed to be in this season. It will make your church going experience a lot easier.

Hello M.,
I would love for you to come and visit my church "Bible Tabernacle" at 505 S. Kings Ave, Brandon FL. Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:00 a.m. for Sunday School and the Evangelical service starts at 10:45 a.m. On Wednesday night we have fellowship with light snacks starting at 7:15 p.m.to 7:45 p.m., immediately after fellowship we start the Bible study at 7:45 p.m. Rush Hour will also start at 7:45 p.m. which is a program for the kids. We love the Lord and love to worship him in Spirit and in Truth. My husband and I are the Hospitality Ministry. I would love to meet you and fellowship with you. We love the LORD with all of our hearts, soul and mind. He is an awesome God. I pray that you will give us a chance in your consideration of finding a home church. We are a congregation of about 50 to 100. We are growing! We have a great music program. We have several families who come from Riverview. Please come and visit me, I truly would love to meet you and your family.
May the Lord bless you and your family.

Our family attends Bay Life Church in Brandon, and we love it! We just moved to the area a few months ago and have been grateful to find a place that feels comfortable. It is a bit of a drive from Riverview but definitely worth it - we live in FishHawk Ranch and make the 20 min. drive which doesn't seem bad at all. It is a large church, but there is plenty of ways to connect to smaller groups, like women's bible study and groups that meet in homes for couples during the week. The children's ministry is fantastic, and my kids can't wait to go back each week. If you are interested, their website is www.baylife.org. Good luck!

Hi M.,
I'm not familiar with the theology of a "Christian" church (is that it's own denomination?), but we've just been through the church hunting process locally as well, and it's been tough! Last week we went to Christ Community Church and LOVED it! It's very small so far... they are only a month old! But the worship was great, as well as the teaching - a good deep message to really help you grow as a Christian, but not so deep that he was hard to listen to. My kids loved the children's program, and went happily to their classes. The pastor and his wife have 4 kids (ages5 to 2 months) so I think this will be a very family friendly church. The phone number for them is ###-###-####. They meet at the Apollo Beach Elementary school in the media center (there's another church that meets there as well) at 10:00. I hope you can visit! Like I said... after all the visits we've made to area churches, it was such a blessing to go to this one!
Good luck!

I, too was recently looking. I found The Crossing Church, in Riverview, and absolutely love it. It is on Causeway just across from Taiga restaurant, near Faulkenburg. You will not be sorry! They have a band on stage, and if you have kids you'll fall in love with their class. They go to church when you do, with other kids the same age, it's all divided up. My kids cannot wait to go every Sat. night. You can check them out online, google them and you can see one of the services live on video. You will be amazed!

St. Andrew's Methodist on Bryan Rd & Bloomingdale is where I go. I was raised Baptist but prefer a Methodist environment to raise my children in (open minds, open hearts, open doors is their motto). I have been to Riverview Meth of 301 and also Big Bend Meth on Big Bend rd. Both which were great but I felt more was offered at the larger church of St Andrews.
Bell Shoals is a HUGE Baptist church in Brandon and offers a ton of worship and small group opportunities. I go there for womens studies.
I agree with the first response, GOd will show you which house to worship in. It doesn't matter the denomination. God bless and happy searching.
