Looking for a Loving Dog Sitter for a Yorkie in E. Ricardson or Surrounding Area

Our yorkie is fully potty trained, spayed, well tempered, sweet, and lovable pet. We have never had to leave her for this long, 10-12 days. We just don't want her in a cage for that long!! We are willing to pay more than a boarder would charge. We are also willing to exchange sitting with another family who loves small dogs and are in the same predicament this summer! Or is someone knows of a good pet sitting company, any referrals would be appreciated.

I am happy to dog sit for you. We have 2 pugs, Brandy and J.P. that would love the company. We live in a house in Oak Cliff. My husband works from home, so they always have attention.

Our neighbor uses Pets R Inn, which is a local pet sitting company that pairs up your pet with another family in which the pet will stay until the duration of your absence. Each home/family is extremely checked to make sure they are pet friendly, usually having a pet of their own.

Hi L.,

Is your Yorkie a miniature? If so, we have a miniature Yorkie that would love some company. If your Yorkie is regular size, it may be intimidating for our dog.

Let me know.
Thanks,
A.

Hi L.,

I have never had to leave my dog, Lucy, until this past Christmas. I use McKinney Animal Hospital for her vet and the office manager, Janelle Baker offered to watch her on her farm. Her husband stays at home with their 2 kids and weiner dog so Lucy was watched 24 hours a day and taken on at least 2-3 walks per day. She even had her own stocking and slept in their bed. She only charged $20 a day and I checked in with her daily. I think Lucy had a great time with the family and got a lot of attention. If you want, I will give you her work and cell number if you are interested. She takes in dogs that people don't want to board. I didn't want Lucy in a cage all day for a week. I treat her like one of my kids!

Check out Tailwaggers Country Inn. http://www.tailwaggerscountryinn.com/itinerary.html

It IS a kennel, but they do not stay in a cage very much except to sleep. Our dogs are our babies right now (our first child is due Sept. 28), and we are VERY particular where they stay. They get cuddle time, and play time, and movie time, and treat time. I think they get more pampering there than they do at home. And they also offer transportation to and from your front door. We have referred many friends to them, and they LOVE them. Our dogs are always SO excited when the Tailwaggers van pulls up. They are in HEAVEN!

Hi!!!

I would love to babysit your Yorkie! I use to have 2 of them years ago & also was there when the girl had her babies.

I live in E. Richardson & am a SAHM to two girls ages 2 & 4. If your dog is use to being around young children then it is fine with me to babysit! We have been debating about adopting a dog & I think this will be a great experience to teach them responsibility of taking care of an animal (besides our hermit crabs).

Please give me a call so we can furthur discuss this.
Take care,
~K.

Hi my name is E.. I am responding to your ad about needing your yorkie to be watched while you are away. When will you need this? I may be able to do it, I have a male Terrier mix (neutered), I also have 2 children. I do live in Carrollton...I dont know if that might be a problem. Well if all goes well I will def be able to do it. I love dogs and "dogsitting" has been something I have wanted to do for a while now. How much are you willing to pay? Thank You, E.

We would love to take care of your yorkie. We have a big dog ourselves, he is very friendly and gets along well with all dogs. We have a yard that they could play together in. We also have a 2year old son, so just so your dog gets along with other kids he should be fine. We live in Allen. You can call me at ###-###-#### that is our business/home number, my name is L.. Or email me back that would be fine too.

L.,
When are you going to be out of town? Do you have a toy yorkie or a reg. one? We have 2 boxers that are inside dogs but love to play (and are very gentle when playing) with smaller dogs. We have kept our neighbors miniature winnie dog and a friends chow/winnie dog mix (which was only 4 lbs at the time) and had no prob with our dogs being too rough. Let me know details if you are interested since we do have big dogs and we might be able to help you out. we also have a 5mth old little boy that the dogs completely adore.

Hi L.!

Are you looking for someone to come to your home? Or would you be open to letting her come stay at my place? I am a single mom who has found herself for the first time in my life without my own dog, so I regularly "babysit" my best friend's yorkie when they go out of town. He comes here to stay with us and my daughter LOVES him!

Hi,

I live in Carrollton and I would be willing to sit your yorkie. I have a 12 week old corgi mix and a 2 year old daughter. I would love to have an already potty trained dog around to help our little bundle learn the ropes from another dog. I'm a sahm with the exception of a community college class twice a week at noon, so there would be no need for cages. The dogs will enjoy playing together during the day. I've never sat for someone else's dog before, but we have a loving home. Let me know if you are still looking for someone.
