I am looking for a veterinarian for our new puppy. We live in Yukon, so I want one that is in Yukon. I am not familiar with any veterinarians here. Does anyone know of a great vet in Yukon? Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

We use West Yukon Animal Hospital. They have two great doctors there. My German Shephard had to have ear surgery and they did a great job. The after care was great too and the surgery was very inexpensive. We were shocked when they told us how much it would be. I would have guessed much more. I don't know the exact address but they are located on the corner of 10th and Main Street.

I would highly recommend Diane Delbridge at Yukon Pet Care Clinic - 126 E. Vandament Phone: ###-###-####

I am from El Reno, but had a dog that needed ear surgery several years ago and I was referred to her. She was very kind and her office was always packed(a good sign) and she also was reasonably priced. So I don't think you could go wrong with her.

Good luck,
C.

I warn please do not take your dog to the vet on Czech Hall and Reno. We took our dog there and he tested our dog for heart worms and the test came back positive and the vet was planning to do treatment on our dog that is very expensive and the dog could end up dying anyway. Well, we took our dog to a different vet (wedgewood pet clinic on nw exp) and they tested him for heart worms and the results were negative. I don't know why the test came back positive but when we told the wedgewood vet about the other test they said the test was probably old and that our dog did not have heartworms. I am afraid the first vet just wanted the money and didn't care if he killed our dog. Just wanted to share that story with you so you would know not to go there.. Goodluck and best wishes

Dr. Del at Yukon Pet Care Clinic on Vandement! I moved to Yukon as a teen in 1984 and have taken all of my dogs to her and even after I moved into OKC I still take my dogs to her for shots, sickness, and I even board my dogs with her when we go on vacation. All of her assistants are great too they know me and my dogs by name and we do not go there that often!
