If you want a Vet that really loves the animals he is located in Cedar Hill,Cedar Hill Vet clinic, Dr Timm England. It is a clinic type place of off Pleasant Run Hwy 67. No overhead costs, just simple fees for actual product administered. I took my 2 Yorkie Terriers & 2 cats for their "annual shots" & paid $60.00 total. You may have to wait because they do not take appts. They are usually open M-F 8-11:30a & reopen from 4-6pm & Sat 9 or 10-12. You sign in as soon as you get there & wait it out. Dr. Keating is very nice and helps out multiple rescue groups in the area. He's at Trinity Mills and Josey.

Dr. Ashley Champagne at Carrollton West Pet Hospital is wonderful.

She is a very compassionate vet and knows a lot about animals.

We had to put our 13 year old dog down over the weekend and she was very kind and gentle.

I can't say enough about the staff as well...they are wonderful there.

We have taken our parrot to Preston Road Animal Hospital for 8 years now (well, I think it is now called Chastain Veterinary Group at Preston Road Animal Hospital). We really like them. They are basically off of the access road of LBJ 635 near Preston Road. You can go to their website for phone numbers, etc. at www.prah.com I believe they have another location near Frisco & McKinney, too.

Hartland Cat Hospital in Hurst. Dr. Hartland is in love with all cats and has a great staff. It's worth the drive.

Depending on where in Carrollton you live, it might not be that far to go to Irving. I've been seeing Dr. Hague at the Cat Hospital of Las Colinas for 10 years now. Ok, so actually, my cats have been seeing her! :-) She's absolutely wonderful and it is a cat-only clinic. Her website is http://www.cathospitaloflascolinas.com/ The clinic is located in the Tom Thumb shopping center at Macarthur and Northgate. We've recently moved to Carrollton and it takes me about 12-15 min to get there now (depending on how I catch some of the lights). If you like the best directions to get there, just let me know. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Hague or her staff. She really helped me through some tough times with my second cat, Boris - he was on the "frequent flyer" program there for a while... he was there so much I think that other clients thought he was just another clinic cat (they have two). She is very caring and good with the cats.
