I recommend Mai (pronounced: my) Hair Continental on Rayford Road just outside of Imperial Oaks Blvd. She is fabulous and always cuts your hairstyle with your head shape in mind- which results in a great haircut every time! Her number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps!

I go to Modern Salon & Day Spa. You can walk in or call. They do a great job, but take a bit of time. So, be sure you have a couple of hours. If I remember that I'm pampering myself I don't worry about the time too much. You can check out their website and read some reviews if you google the name. They are off of 249.

I use Texas Hair Team, in the shopping center by Spring High School and my Hair Dresser is Meisha. She's a doll. I'm not sure if she does color since I quit coloring mine, but there are alot of really great color specialists there. You can call up ther and find out who is the best and they will gladly help you out. There are enough stylists that if you are looking to get it done quickly - they should be able to accomodate your schedule.

Thi person is not in The Woodlans/Spring area, but I could not help but reccommend her. She is located in the spring branch area and is the manager at the Fantastic Sam's located at 2755 Gessner Drive (77080). Her name is Tameka (that is spelt wrong, pronounced ta-mee-ka) Johnson. I have had trouble all my life finding someone that can actually cut my hair decently. My hair is very fine and thin. I was having her cut for about a year before I had her color it and I wasn't disappointed at all, in fact I had so many compliments and people wanting to know where I had it done and everyone was surprised that it wasn't one of those "high-dollar" salons. If you want to make the drive you won't be dissappointed.

I actually think our kiddos go to the same school and we know each other!!! Anyway, my sister has been a hair dresser for several years, and she really is wonderful. I pay her just like everyone else, so you can see I dont just recommend her bc she is my sister... she is very talented at what she does! Everyone I have sent to her stays with her. She went to work for Spaulding and Crump right after school, and built up her client list and had now branched off on to her own. I would say about 98% of her clients followed her to her new salon. You can find her at Salons of the Northwest, which is off of Stubner Airline, right before RJ Goodies. Try the Aveda Training Institute in the Woodlands. They are wonderful there, and affordable. A hair cut, style, and shampoo are only $15. You are cut by a student, but their teacher is there to watch over constantly. I even had the teacher do most of my cut last time showing the student how to work with my hair. They are behind the Home Depot that is off of Research Forest and I-45.
Spaulding & Crump is a great salon right across from KHS in the HEB parking lot at Spring Stuebner and Louetta. Call Shirley @ ###-###-#### and tell her that R. sent you! She will talk to you a little to find out what all you want, so she can figure out which hairdresser to put you with! THey are all great!
