I'm looking for a good family Dr in the Metro Detroit area (Royal Oak, Warren, NE Detroit). My Dr was great but it took forever to get an appt and now she does not take my insurance anymore (BCN). Do you have a Dr that you can get an appt with easily and really is concerned about your health?

I have had a great experience with Dr. Susan Pikal of North Woodward Internal Medicine Associates. I, too, have BCN so I know they accept it :) They are located in Clawson on 14 mile road and they admit to Royal Oak Beaumont. I have't had the chance to meet any of the other doctors in the practice but I really like Dr. Pikal.
Northpointe Pediatrics in Warren We have seen all of the Dr's and they are all great NEVER have a problem getting a same day appointment the nurses are very helpful when you call in All of the Dr's listen to what we are saying and genuinely care about the kids They talk to them and find out whats wrong and not act like they aren't in the room, if you know what I mean They also have electronic scripts which is nice
Dr. Michael Wayne in Northville. his office is on 7 mile road. He works out of Botsford Hospital. He's great and has a new associate, too. so it's even easier to see someone in the office. I've never had a problem with him and he's VERY caring.
We go to Northpointe Pediatrics on Schoenherr in Warren. We see Dr. Alling-Jones, but all the doctors there are really good. I never had a hard time getting an appointment and they really are good with the kids. Good luck!
