Any good recommendations?
Thank you to all who has responded, still awaiting more responses... I'll let you know how it all works out.
I put my daughter in Southwood preschool, which was just awesome!! It is located on PV Blvd/ near Sepulveda. It is a really great preschool in Torrance. I put her there for a year, and she really enjoyed it. The teachers are really good too. It was a nice transition before going into kindergarten!
My 3.5 yr old goes to CrossRoads Learning Center across the street from El Camino College on Crenshaw.
Its a Christian based preschool belonging to Calvary Baptist church around the corner.
They take 2-5 yr olds and will potty train. Right now, I think they have openings.
I'm happy with it.

There are two recommendations I can make, Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, (director:Lisa Such) in Torrance off of Torrance Blvd and Spencer, and First Lutheran Preschool (Shirley Becker) on Carson and Maple. Both have solid reputations for many years. Good luck!

HI R.! I used to be a preschool teacher and I definately recommend the El Camino College Child Dev. Center
in Torrance. They have developmentally appropriate activities, a state preschool and funded program. I used to work their and it was my dream job. You should go check it out.
I'm searching for one right now too!! I'm waitlisted at Sand Tots, that is where I want to go but need to look elsewhere right now. I'm going on a tour of The Playhouse today, it is on Prairie Ave in Torrance.
I am also looking! I am focusing on Headstart, but not sure whether or not I will qualify for the program, if not I will probably be looking into Sylvan and then if not that (which I think is only extra curricular and not an actual preschool program) then I think my only choice will be putting my daughter in the preschool program at El Camino College where I am going to be taking a class. Not sure yet.
