Just moved to the area and have a son (almost 3) who will be ready for his first year of preschool this fall. I was wondering if anyone has any insight on good preschools or even preschools to stear away from. I am looking in Bennington and in Omaha area. Thank you in advance!

My youngest attends now and my 11-year-old attended 7 years ago.
They have an excellent program to prepare kids for kindergarten - not just the ABCs - 123s, but manners and social skills too.
Hi G. - My son is 3 and is attending Ginger Bread House Preschool right now and he loves it there. He goes two days a week for 2.5 hours and they have kitchen time on Mondays when the kids get to help with making a special reciepe and then they get to eat it as a snack. On Wednesday they have music or a special guest to talk to the kids. He loves it and so do I!!

Our son will be 3 in July and we have him registered to begin attending St. Luke's Child Development Center in Sept for preschool. They usually have a waiting list (hence the reason our son isn't starting until Sept), so you might want to visit now and see what you think. The 3 year olds begin computer class, music class, and body movement/exercise. Price is pretty reasonable - around $150 a week, and that includes meals/snacks plus all the specialty classes.

We go to Westwood near 132nd and Center. It's Christian and awesome! 3 out of the 4 kids have gone there and the teachers are superb!
Also, I would love to recommend our dental office, Family Friendly... located at 132nd and Center. My husband has practiced since 92, very gentle and great with kids. Our number is ###-###-####. Tell them I sent ya and ask for the $40 off of your initial visit!
Also, Dr. Tom Byrne, is a great pediatrician located at 144th and Center. Great doc and super with kids....
