I have a pediatrician in Fort Thomas but the drive from Independence is a hassle. I'm looking for a good pediatrician in around Independence or even Florence area. I have a 3 year old who is just now getting over his fear of doctors ( had surgeries when he was younger and developed a fear of the doctor ) If anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

I agree with another mother, Pediatric Associates is great! I live in Union and typically use the one on Mt. Zion Road. It is located near the Kroger store. My kids are 2 and 4 and they both have never been anywhere else. We choose them since most of our friends were using them. We typically do not wait long to see the doctors and they have all been real nice. Our favorites are Dr. "Barry" Brokaw (sometimes hard to see) and Dr. "Charlie" Cavallo. My daughter is very shy but they are both very gentle and calming around her. It has the same phone number as the other office.

I live in Independence also and take my kids to Pediatric Associates. All the docs there are great.
We live in Independence, and we use Pediatric Associates in the Crestview Hills area, very close to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Their phone number is ###-###-####. If you go north on Turkeyfoot Road, take it to Thomas Moore Drive and go right, and then take a left onto Chancellor Drive, then take the first right and it is in that set of buildings. It is about 10-12 minutes away from us, and they are fabulous. They have a lot of doctors, and all the ones I've met are great. They spend the time you need to answer your questions, the nurses are nice, and it has very child friendly decorations- an underwater theme complete with a large aquarium on the lower level, and an "outback" theme on the upper level. The rooms and hallways are all painted with fun kid themes as well to help kids relax. The doctors are knowledgable, and because they have a lot of doctors on staff it is easier to get in for an appointment when your child is sick. They also have a triage nurse that you can call to get questions answered. I've called her a couple times and she was very caring and did a good job answering my questions. We've been taking my daughter there since she was born over a year now, and I can't say anything negative about them. I've also never waited long for the doctor. Their nurse practioner, Amber Cullen, is very good, and seems to remember us when we come in, which is really nice. The other place you can get suggestions is to look at the local business reviews, and then choose "by distance" to get ones close to Independence. Good luck- I hope this helps! =)
I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Charles Kelly or Dr. Kevin Kelly, or Dr. Radhika Ramesh. They are with Pediatric Care of Kentucky. They have offices in Edgewood at St. Elizabeth, in Covington & in Burlington. My daughter has gone to Dr. Chuck Kelly for years & he is wonderful!! I cannot say enough good things about him. She has also seen various other doctors in that practice over the years, and they are all wonderful. My other favorites are the other Dr. Kelly (they are brothers) and Dr. Ramesh.
