Dr Cindy Hartley in Plano delivered my extremely high risk twin gals in 2001. They were "momo" twins and she did a great job with their delivery. She also made a seamless c-section that "wowed" the Ob nurses. I can't even see my c-section line. She's a thorough perfectionist.

I can't say enough great things about Drs Allen, Banks & Halderman at North Central Women's Health Partners @ 4541 Medical Ctr Dr in McKinney ###-###-####). They're all great ladies - I'm partial to Dr. Allen because she's my Dr. but I've never heard one bad thing about any of them! I STRONGLY recommend them! Good luck!

I recently asked this same question to mamasource and I went to Associated Womens Healthcare at Medical Center of Plano. They are AWESOME! I was so impressed (and I'm VERY critical so impressing me is hard to do)! There are four Dr.s, all FEMALE (that was a preference for me as well)Dr. Ferrara is my dr., but I've also seen Dr. Hartley and Dr. White. Dr. White is not currently taking patients. Dr. Ferrara is very sweet but very professional. Dr. Hartley is professional but very easy to talk to. The nurses are all very bubbly and energetic while the office staff is prim and proper and very courteous. I recently looked into them for a recent pregnancy. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 5 weeks. But I tell you that to say that they were very kind to me during the process and took very good care of me. In fact, they have been checking up on my for the last three weeks. Also, they have all the sonogram equipment at the office so you never have to go somewhere else or be referred out. There is a lab upstairs that you go to for blood draws and such and they are fantastic. I have a needle phobia and have had my blood drawn 5 times in the last few weeks and it has been quick and painless every time.

Hope this helped!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shea Joyner or Dr. Tricia Shimer.. they are both with Shimer and Shimer OBGYN. The whole practice is wonderful. I started seeing them when I moved to Mckinney, and just had a baby with them 7 weeks ago. They made the whole thing a wonderful experience for a worried first time mom. They just built a beautiful new office in Mckinney (Craig Ranch)

I go to Dr. Jennifer Denning at Northlake Ob/Gyn at Presby Plano and I LOVE her. She is wonderful. In her 30's, super understanding and empathetic. I had been going to her already when I got pregnant with twins and was high risk (b/t the twins, my age, and other issues) and she was a rock star through the whole thing, as well as afterwards. Highly recommend her - Good luck!
