My husband and I are taking our girls to Disney this month and want to take them to a Character breakfast. As some of you may know I joined a company and opened an online travel agency 2 months ago. The deals for travel agents are so fantastic that we are taking advantage right away! In these two months I have made enough money to treat us to a trip! (all I do is hand out business cards to everyone I meet)(no selling, horray!)
I am looking for recomendations for a character breakfast and anything else you think is good. This is our first trip to Disney (with kids).
Thanks
L.

Hi L.,

I don't have any advice on the Disney character breakfast. We are taking our 2 year old twins there at the end of the month, the only character they care about is Mickey. So, we will be doing the breakfast with him.

I was wondering if you could tell me more about your job. I have been researching home based travel agencies for awhile now. So far most of them seem like a scam. I would appreciate any kind of advice you could give me.

Thanks and have fun at Disney!
J.

I use to work in central reservations at Disney. It all depends who you are looking for to have breakfast with... The cinderella castle books out very early. It is called priority seating, not a guaranteed reservation. So when you arrive at your time, you get the next available seat, over someone who just walked in, which is always better! Tigger and Pooh bear are also inside the main Disneyworld, so you need ticket admission. Chef Mickey at the Comtemporary is nice they have a dinner too. Mickey, minnie, pluto, goofy and chip and dale.
The polonesian has a nice one also. Call the dining # and make your arrangements early! Mary poppins is at the Grand Floridian if I am not mistaken still....
The dining line will have who is where and all for you....

Good luck!

Hi. We took our children last year for my daughters second birthday to the character breakfast at the Contemporary resort, it was awesome! Huge, huge, huge....breakfast buffet! they really catered to the children, plus made it extra special for my daughters birthday. All the characters were there, they each came around to the table at least 2-3 times. Plus came around to get the kids to get up and dance with them. They were also great about getting pictures with the kids too. This June we are going back for my daughters 3rd birthday! We are going to do the character breakfast at Epcot, with the princesses. And then going back to the Contemporary again the following day. It was great, hoping the experience will be even better this year. The whole family including grandparents enjoyed the breakfast!! Hope you all enjoy your trip! A. K

There are several.
1. Crystal palace is always a popular one but very crowded.
2. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is fun with Mickey and Goofy.
3. There is a cool lunch or dinner one at the Land. The resturante rotates and the characters all come around and see you. They visit you throughout your entire meal and give you one on one attention. I personally would do this one because if you eat an earlier lunch or dinner it's not crowded at all.
They have Chip and Dale, Mickey, Mini Sometimes, Goofy or Pluto can't remember.
At any rate there's a few. We are going for Mother's DAy.

Have a great time.

Hi L.,

Unfortunately it might be tough to get into some of the character breakfasts that you want to go to at this point. The reservations open up 90 days prior to your arrival and people are on the phone at 6am to get into the good ones. I was a travel agent as well and used to book some of them for my clients. I would suggest the new one that they have at the actual castle. I know it is quite pricey and I am not sure if you can get it since it is so close but you actually eat in the princess' castle with the princess. They also have breakfasts at various resorts around Disney so check with the resort that you are staying at to see if they have one. You may also want to call the concierge at your hotel and ask for some help in booking or for some ideas on what to do. I hope you have a great time.

Also, what company did you join? Are you (or can you...not sure how your company works) hire another agent? Can you tell me more about it? I have an almost 2 year old and another on the way due in October and would love to do that from home if possible.

Thanks.
T.
