Hello,

I am looking for a doctor for my annual checkup
It could be a family or general doctor. I would prefer a female doctor that is friendly, listens and is not in a hurry.

Any recommendations will be highly appreciated :)
thanks!

If your looking for an OB/GYN I highly recommend

Partners OB/GYN

Phone: ###-###-####

1737 Beam Avenue
Maplewood, MN 55109

There are only female doctors there and some of them have been named top doctor of the year and such. I used to go there when we lived in White Bear Lake. Really, really recommend that place.

I love love Dr Shannon Harris. She is out of Oakdale OBGYN they have offices in Robbinsdale, Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, and Plymouth.

When I was Pregnant with #2 I was in need of an OB and just picked her office for its location and began seeing all the OB's. Once I seen her she treated me so well and took time to know me. That I switched the rest of my appointments to her. I have now been seeing her for years. She treats me like we are old friends when I go to see her. She hardly ever runs late but you never feel rushed durning your appointment. And she has always followed up on any issues we dissuced. I just cant say enough good about her.

I LOVE my doctor, Dr. Taube, at Edina Sports Health & Wellness. She was recommended to me by a friend & she's also listed in Mpls St. Paul Mag as a top doctor. I recently switched to seeing her from using my old OB as my primary care doctor. Make an appointment now, however. She takes several months to get into as a new patient for an annual exam. But, she's worth the wait. My last annual check-up with her lasted around an hour.

I love my doctor, Dr. Sally Engerbretsen at Allina Lake of the Isles clinic. She is an internist so I can go to her for my annual check-up as well as when I have a virus or any other medical issue.

I also went to Women's Health Consultants OB/GYN when I was pregnant. I loved my doctor there, Dr. McKeand. There are ten doctors in the practice and they are all women.

Finally, someone below mentioned Dr. Lina Swenson. She is my Aunt so maybe I'm a little biased but I have several friends who see her and love her. She is in family medicine so I am not sure if she would perform an annual exam but you could definitely see her for everything else. You could even bring your family to her.

Dr. Pam Noll at Fairview Uptown Clinic. I love her! Also, Dr. Christine Wesely at the same clinic. I've seen both over the year as my primary physician and both followed my pregnancies, Dr. Noll delivered both of my kids.
