I have a 10 year old daughter who's teeth have grown in crooked. We both know she needs braces and she's comfortable with the idea. I need to find a dentist with office hours after 4pm and Saturday hours so she can be seen and evaluated.

Hi E.,

My brother (Dr. Mark R. Vittori) is a dentist in River Forest not far from harlem and lake street. His number is ###-###-####. I am also a dentist, but I am in Glen Ellyn and I am a periodontist. My brother is great with kids as he has three of his own. The orthodontist that he refers to has offices in OakBrook and River Forest so that might be perfect for you. Actually, it is the same orthodontist that I went to as a kid and I also refer my patients to him. Best of luck!

Hi E.,
Sears Dental is open nights and saturdays. I think they have one in the Oakbrook Sears store and maybe the one on Harlem & North Ave near Oak Park. They also have economical plans for braces. Hope this helps!

Before you deside please look up the dentists that believe in "no extraction" way to correct dental problems. I found out about this doing research for my son's braces. Do not let dentists talk you into pulling your daughter's teeth out in "order to make room". Kids later have bite problems, small jaws, facial distortions and weird smile. Takes more money and time to correct that. Just be aware and do yor recearch. Good luck.

Another vote for Battistoni and Beam. In addition to flexible office hours, they offer a good payment plan, are very responsive to any concerns or problems, and have been really nice to my kids. You should know that they do insist on a couple of appointments during the work/school day, because there are a few procedures that require more time.

Hi~
I had my braces put on by Dr. Rock (Harlem and North Ave, Oak Park) oh about 22 years ago!!!! And he is now my kids' dentist b.c. he is one of THE most patient and kind people I know. They have late and Saturday hours. My whole family (parents, kids, cousins, aunts) all go to him.
Great staff too!
Good luck!

I agree - Battistoni & Beam. They also have an office in LaGrange.

Try Drs. Battistoni & Beam on North Avenue in Oak Park! They have incredible hours. I just called yesterday to get my 10-year old fitted and they set me up with a mid-week 7:30 p.m. appointment! They have a terrific reputation with other parents in my son's school I've talked to. Only issue is they are considered out-of-network in our dental plan, but I'm still going to go there.
