Looking for a Church - Greenbrier,TN

I am looking for a church recommendation. I live in the Robertson County area. I prefer non-denomination or methodist. I also like churches that have newer music and are very upbeat. They feel like a family and don't expect you to dress up every Sunday.

What can I do next?

You could check out Coopertown Community Church. It's in Springfield on Hwy 431. From Wal-mart, take the highway out of town towards Coopertown (I-24 direction). After you pass the gas station at the light, there is another gas station on the right, after you pass it, look for the church driveway on the right.
We visited a few years ago. GREAT MUSIC!! I am not sure who the preacher is now, but the basis was non-denominational and it was a very loving church. Also, very casual (shorts ok!!)
Good Luck!

I live in Springfield and attend Cornerstone in Madison. I have gone for 4 years and love it!! I have 6 kids who adore it too. To the point the kids make us get our lazy butts up and take them to church. In the past year my husbands entire family has switched from Church of Christ to Cornerstone and it is great having all of us together every week. There's lots to do, and kids have a ball. The pastors are amazing!! I would love to meet up with you one Sunday and take you to church with us. you can email me at ____@____.com

Hey, I am a lazy 34 year old,who needs to be in church. Not to mention my 9 year old has wanted to go to church for awhile now. I want to go to Long Hollow because my daughter loves it there! The minister is really awsome too. Would you like to come with us one day? Or is that to far.

Love,
Me

I attend the White House First United Methodist Church. They have 2 services, a contemporary one at 8 a.m., which is led by the Worship Team (contemporary Christian Musicians), and a traditional service at 10:30 a.m. I am new in town, and have only been attending since July, but I love it. They have a lot of great childrens programs, and everyone is very friendly.

Hi A.,
I live in Robertson County also, and just started attending 24 Church in Pleasant View. I love it!!! I am 30 and have a 10 month old...and most everyone in the congregation is in our age group. You do not have to dress up... the pastor even wears jeans. Everyone has been super friendly and the music ROCKS! (but they still can be reverent also) You can check out their website www.24church.com for more info or directions. Hope this helps out :O)

Try Cornerstone in Madison...I doubt you would be dissappointed. It is a pretty big church but don't let that scare you off (it did me for awhile). But once you get in a care group/Sunday School class it becomes much smaller...and you will meet some of the friendliest people on earth. The Pastor comes on Channel 5 on Sunday mornin at 10 am if you want to check him out. Or you can even watch the service at 5 o'clock saturday evening (yes there are Saturday and Sunday services..only about 1,000 at the Saturday ones....and they have Saturday school...after church) or 10:00 am on sundays. EXCELLENT childrens program...your daughter would LOVE it! Music is contemporary and the choir...choir director and band are awesome. Dress is pretty much what you feel comfortable in...you would not be out of place dresses up or in jeans :) Heres the link that can tell you alot more then I can put on here. http://cornerstonenashville.org/templates/_cornerstone/de... There are alot of people from your area and even further that come to Cornerstone. I prayed for a church...and this is where I was led :) God Bless

I go to First United Methodist Church in Springfield (on Oak St.) and we would love for you to come and visit. We have services at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 and opportunities for Sunday school 3 y.o. to adult (and nursery) during all services. Our 9:45 service is "contemporary" and lots of fun... that's the one that we go to. I have been a member for a year and a half and this is the first church I have found a true home in. There are so many ways to get involved! We are also having a women's bible study on Wednesdays at 9 am (nursery available, just call to let them know). Call and speak to Kathy (our asst. pastor)- she can help you out a lot. The church's phone # is ###-###-#### (office is open Mon- Thurs).
