My cousin is looking for a chiropractor in the Lakewood area; she is pregnant with her second child and thinks it might be helpful. She has never been to one though and is therefore a little nervous. Any recommendations are much appreciated!

I don't know what type of problems your cousin is experiencing but chiropractic or massage therapy or both might be appropriate. Cadwell Chiropratic is a family friendly place. I went to the chiropactor to help me through my pregnancies.
They are located on Youngfield and 38th in Wheat Ridge but not far from Lakewood. (right near I70)

I highly recommend Maximized Living offices. I call it 'physical therapy chiropractic'. He adjusts you AND there are exercises to teach your body to continue holding it in the correct position. They also have an all-natural approach to life. I see a dr in northglenn. Check him out!

J.: i have the most awesome chiropractor in the whole world. her name is amy alber. she's a new mom herself (her son is 3 months old today) i have been taking my 6 year old to see her for the last 3 months and he has fallen in love with her. She and her husband own their clinic together (it's by Jason's deli on simms near alameda) they complement each other in what they know and can recommend. They're so awesome too in that they just added WII to their clinic to help people with their posture, becoming better golfers, baseball players, etc. I think you would really, really like her. We see a great Chiropractor in Lakewood, it is Meridian Health and is on Yale & Wads. The are Christian based maximized living center. Tell her to try them out Dr. Joe and his wife Kristin run the family office and it is great. Their number is ###-###-####, they work with pregnant and people of all ages. My mom lives in Lakewood area and loves Dr. Noren that someone else recommended. She was also very helpful when my son had some problems when we were visiting.
Our chiropractor helped me a lot with my first pregnancy. She happens to be one of just a handful of chiropractors in the area who use the activator method, which is so much more gentle (and I personally belive safer) than traditional methods.
