I am looking for a childcare center for my daughter that is education based and also located near Parker and Preston, In Plano. My daughter is 3 and is very bored at home. She is absolutly amazing in art and on computers. I also have an 11 month old and cannot give my oldest the attention and educational stimulation that she needs on a consistant basis. She also does not nap and a center that requires napping will not work for her. I found a childcare, Teddy bear junction, that i think might work but they only have tuesdays and thursdays available right now. I'd really prefer 3 days right now and if its some place that offers a summer program, even better!

Did you know that PISD has three preschools? My son went to Beaty Early Childhood School for two years. It's about 250$/month for a 1/2 day five days per week and it is AWESOME! No naps, and obviously it's education based as all the teachers are certified and the curriculum is based on PISD and prepares kids for Kindergarten. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their program! www.pisd.edu

D., You might check out Childtime on Hedgcoxe in Plano. I'm sure they would allow her in the Pre K class since she seems so advanced for her age. A friend had her child there until they moved last summer. The teacher then was degreed and did alot of one on one. They do offer part time programs and full. Good luck!
Primrose School of Forest Creek is a WONDERFUL school. This location (Hedgcoxe and Coit) offers 2,3 and 5 day full or half day programs. Good luck

I have an in-home daycare. I'm in McKinney close to 121 and Alma. I have a 2 yr old daughter that is well ahead of other kids her age. I've had the oppertunity to teach her rather than her being in a day care center were she would not have the one on one attention. I've seen how day care center treat the kids and actually worked in a center when my daughter was younger. We were both sick all the time and when it came time for my daughter to be moved to the toddler class she was 9 mos old. The youngest ever to be placed in the todd class. She was not walking yet and had just started on table food. They moved her out of the baby class to allow for new babys. I was very upset. Every day she came home with a diaper rash. They would clean her face with her wipes and it caused her to get a face rash. I couldn't take anymore. I started watching children in my home in March 05. I have an opening if you are interested.
