Any one have a light weight double stroller they really like? I can not decide what to get. I have a 7 month and a 2.8 yr old. I have a Valco that I take on walks but it is too big/heavy to put in the car. I am not sure if I want side by side or front to back. So any sugguestion would be GREATLY appreciated.

So What Happened?

Thank you all so much for all the great stroller suggestions. I plan on going this weekend to check out some of the stroller that have been recommended. I currently have a single combi that we use for the car so at this point I am leaning toward the double Combi. I want to try it out first, put my kids in it fold it up and make sure it will fit in our car easily. I hope I am happy with my choice as you all are with your strollers!
Thanks again, A.

This is my favorite double stroller and I have had 3. I love it. Folds easily, light weight, my daughter at age 5.5 went in it at Disney and still fit! I think it is awesome.

Combi Twin Sport 2 side by side double stroller. For some reason it won't let me paste the link. Amazon had a great price on it though. 3 colors to choose from. I love it!

I bought the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and I absolutely love it!!!! We got it for a trip to Disney World and it was the best money we have spent in a long time. I am 9 mths pregnant with our 3rd child so when we went in November I was pregnant and easily able to push the stroller with my 4yr old and 10 mth old. Folds very easily and has lots of storage space. The cheapest price and quickest delivery I found were on Amazon.com. Now my oldest is 5 yrs old and probably too "grown-up" for the stroller but he still loves it! I will be able to put my now 15 mth old and a newborn in it because it reclines to almost flat. It also has the best sun shades I have ever seen. I truly cannot say enough about this stroller...Good luck with your decision!

I've got two kids, 3 months and 2 years, and we love the Jeep side by side. It's so lightweight and simmple. The infant fits in it just fine as it reclines. And, the kids like being next to each other.

I keep a Joovy Caboose in my car. My 2 year old loves to sit in the jump seat. Small, light weight, good for car and travel.

My kids are 2 1/2 and 18 months old and i had the Graco one and HATED it! Too heavy, hard to steer, you name it, i hated! So i got the Baby trend sit n stand deluxe and LOVE it! The deluxe one has a feature where you can EASILY convert the sit n stand part to a real seat. It's perfect for now because my 2 1/2 year old is still a little small for the sit n stand part. It's light and easy to steer. My only 2 complaints which are minor is that the basket is small and i wish there was a little bigger storage on the handles where you push. But those are super minor and LOVE this stroller. It's at Target. I got it online. Hope this helps!

I use a Combi side-by-side for my twins. They're almost 3 with a slight weight difference. When they were much younger, if I was out with I'd have just one of my twins and my older daughter, I'd make up for the weight difference by putting my bag on the "light" side of the stroller. I like mine. It's MUCH lighter than my front/back Graco and it fits much more easily in my little van. The Combi folds like an umbrella stroller and then in half again vertically so it can stand upright on it's own, plus it has a carrying strap. I've quickly folded it up and carried it on my shoulder WHILE carrying both toddlers to hop on the train. Both sides also recline and have large canopies that operate independently of one another. It maneuvers well and fits through any standard door frame easily.

I really like my twin savy combi side by sdie. Super light weight, and compact to fold. Graco bucket carseat fits in it facing forward. This is not a feature it's supose to have, and it doesn't sanp in - but works just fine. My sisters like theirs too. Got mine new on ebay for about 150 (I think). If you do tons of walking or any jogging, this wouldn't have big enough wheels, but for typical stuff its great!
P.S. one of the combi models has an attachment for the combi bucket carseat to snap in.
P.S.S. Got the stroller with my second. The first two kids are 28 months apart and the second set are 21 months apart. I just push more on the heavy side, and you don't notice the weight difference that much. I've even stuck all three of them in there at times (1,3,5)

Highly reccomend one step ahead's sit and stand deluxe stroller. Its light-weight compared to traditional double strollers. I love the rubber wheels...seems to absorb more shock than plastic ones. Super easy to fold. And unlike the side by side ones, you can go thru any entrance, not just the wheel chair accessibles ones. Very easy to maneuver too. You can use it as a double stoller with the seats or use it with a seat and a jumpseat. And lastly, if your 2 yr old doersn't like being strapped in, but can't walk too far of distances, they can ride on the jumpseat as they need to.

***** 5 stars! LOVE this stroller!

A good cost effective stroller is the Jeep side-by-side($78 Babies R Us). I use it for my twins.

I just purchased the combi twin
savy for my 5 mo. old and 2.5 yr. old for a trip to Disneyworld. It was perfect! It's compact, lightweight, and easy to maneuver. It even fit through the xray machine through the airport security.

The only drawback is that your two yr. old will be able to touch your baby. Mine loves to hold hands with her baby sister when she sits in it which is not a problem, but I do have to watch her carefully just in case she is not gentle or trying to share snacks.
