Looking for ideas for home employment...I am sooooo picky---no selling, no start up money, but something legitimate. Looking at freelance/consulting work. Not sure how to market myself or who to present my skills, etc. to. Any other home employment ideas? Any advice, out there? Concerned about taking a risk and not being able to afford my mortgage, but something has got to give!

What can I do next?

Thanks for the information you have sent regarding working at home. I am still researching and keeping my mind open about all the options. WAHMs out there---what are you doing from home? How is it working out? Are there any concerns about working at home? Any advice? Thanks again.

Hi Mollie,
I understand your concerns about some home businesses. It really is good to get information and check things out.
I started with PartyLite eight years ago...my husband is a teacher, and I always tease him that it didn't turn out to be a get rich quick scheme as we had imagined! Thus, I pay our mortgage each month...with my PartyLite income. I would love the opportunity to just give you information...so you are informed...I know MANY people who live solely off this opportunity...some of which make six figures annually, and consistently. I personally do this along side with volunteer teaching, and raising my three children. Please contact me just to get the info, and I can give you some other ideas of questions to ask before making a decision with any company.
Looking forward to talking with you!

I saw your ad and thought I would respond. I am a sahm to 3 beautiful (but very time consuming!) kids. Anyway a couple of months ago I was debating whether or not to go back to work and with daycare costs, and gas prices what they are, I realized I need to do something from home. I thought about doing daycare but realized I value my freedom way too much (and my 3 kids are PLENTY of work;) I found a position with a solid 16 year old company, marketing and enrolling new members into discount health benefit programs. You can work from your house as long as you have internet access and a phone. The company offers 6 months adv. pay, daily pay, health benefits for your entire household, 401k options and life insurance. The position is commission based but very lucrative considering 7 out of 10 people are either uninsured or under insured. The programs are VERY affordable ranging between $19.95 - $59.95 per month for the entire household. This is a booming field to get into given the current economic situation and healthcare crisis. Let me know if you would like more information, it has been a great opportunity for me and my family.

Best of Luck!
