Leather Seats in the Car in the Summer

I'm in Gilbert also. And hell no to leather seats in the summer! We have ALWAYS had cloth, even chose it on new cars...however, we sold our new cars to get out of car payments and get out of debt and replaced them with used cars. The suv I bought hubs has BLACK leather and we HATE IT! But it was a great deal. So we bought seat covers for the front seats and that helps. But we use my car when we drive the kids around so they don't have to sit on hot seats. So no, I would not get leather in our summers. I even hate our leather couches!!! When we move in June, I will replace them with cloth in our new house. lol Good luck!

I strongly dislike leather seats. The back of my legs tend to sweat and stick to them, and in shorts they burn you!

I always thought I wanted leather seats too cause they looked nicer easier to clean but now that I have them I hate them.. yes I sweat really bad in the summer even with the ac on I always get were I am going & feel Like I pee'd. Even during the winter with the heater on you sit down & they freeze right through your clothes & keep you frozen...

There were always beach/pool towels in my car during the summer so I found myself sitting on one of those if the seat was too hot.

I have only owned cars with leather seats (mostly black!). It's never been a problem and I've lived in FL, OK, and KS. If it bothers you, you can get a sun visor or towel:)

I love my leather seats. Our summers are short in Bend but I do sweat alot and just throw a towel on the seat if it's hot and I'm wearing shorts or something where my bare legs will be next the the hot seat.

I do not own a car with a leather interior because I have ridden in them and do not like them. I feel I stick to them in summer and just sweat and would cover them up anyway if I had no other option. If the car is otherwise in your price range, I'd get seat covers, even though bench seats are hard to find.
